Amen. David Cassidy's father had a musical background too. He did the voice and singing of Bob Crachett on Mr. MaGoo's Christmas Carol in 1962! Give a listen to the song "The Lord's Bright Blessing" from it. That will cheer you up.

David Cassidy wanted a little more mature sound on the Partridges' records, and got it with this 1971 song from Tony Romeo. Cassidy nailed the vocal and the sound is perfect. For my money, their best 45.

I had this album when I was in fourth grade. The days before I lost my innocence. Used to listen to this all alone by myself. I think I had my first kiss that summer 1972. It was at the YMCA. What a great time to be a kid!

John Lennon always said that "I Think I Love You" was the perfect pop song (and it remains incredibly catchy). But this is the superior song. So yes, I do think this is the best Partridge Family song. I'll Meet You Halfway is another great one.

It's not just a great song "for the time," it's a great song PERIOD. They had good songwriters and members of The Wrecking Crew playing those instruments. I always thought this one was under-acknowledged, and might have gotten more attention if someone like Glen Campbell had recorded it. And unlike a lot of teen idols of that time, David Cassidy could really sing.

Charity Proctor Im a PISCES born to like Music. PISCES also means Im a nice person. PISCES also means Im an IRISH person. They say girls like IRISH Men. Sorry its true most IRISH like there Alcohol. It sucks most people think all IRISH are Drunks. Doesnt help most IRISH songs are about Drinking. Grade school I was a Ladies Man the girls told me I was cute with IRISH FReckles on my face. US O"GRADY boys must have been good Looking these girls came to our house some times right after school. US O"GRADY FAMILY were 70s kids. Not gonna Lie some of us liked our Alcohol. IRISH FAmilys are known for having lots of kids, my family had 8 kids, MOM side gave us kids 12 first cousins. I admit us IRISH are Different born with Red Hair & Freckles. Its funny some people think our Freckles are Bug Bites. Us IRISH have our flaws our Skin burns easily in the Sun. It sucks even today REDHEADS get Bullied. Isabelle Rose So popular David selling out Stadium concerts at age 18. David was on another TV show RUBY&THE ROCKITS. Child actor ALEXA VEGA played his Daughter, ALEXA did good for herself she Married Carlos Pena a member of Boy Band BIG TIME RUSH. ALEXA signed with HALLMARK CHANNEL FOR THOSE XMAS MOVIES. David had to do same thing he did on Partridge Family doing his own concerts.

Dominic Tripaldi David was good he was selling out Stadium concerts at age 18. To bad he had a drinking problem. I understand those 70s bands doing Drugs & Alcohol, doing so many concerts & traveling a lot. Then all those girls wanting to get action from those Long Hair Rock Stars. Its funny the bass guiter Danny was playing was bigger than him. Those 70s concerts were crazy because of very little Security. People so drunk even loud music didnt wake them. 1 concert they made us wait 2 hours some band wanted to play when it got dark out. Did get to see big bands Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Allman Brothers, Country Singer Alan Jackson.

lainLucey1972 I was kinda scared at those 70s concerts, I was a big drinker. I was afraid of fights I was only 5'6" Tall. I surprised myself how much I could drink being so small. Also surprised I had Girlfriends being small. They say the Ladies like IRISH Men. Us O"GRADY boys most have been good looking grade school girls came to our house sometimes right after school. I was saying about fights because of very little Security. Lucky me Girlfriends liked to party like me. Us O"GRADY boys were stand outs with IRISH Freckles on our face. Not always fun being IRISH people think were all Drunks, REDHEADS even today still get Bullied, some think our Freckles are Bug Bites. My favorite IRISH Quote KISS ME IM IRISH
