The Party - Adult Decision (1990) Original Version

"Adult Decision" was the first song The Party ever recorded, and while it didn't make it onto the first album, it showed up as the B-Side of "That's Why" (along with "Peace, Love and Understanding.") The original version became rather rare, most people being more familiar with the remix that appeared on "In the Meantime, In Between Time." The original version is, in my opinion, far superior. I put this video together from clips of the "In My Dreams" video, with audio provided by my friend Joe, who runs The Party fanpage on Facebook. Enjoy!

oh my gosh, I remember getting this song for free from this promo that Poptarts was doing and you had to send them a bunch of upc labels. In return you'd get this song on cassette. Man, those were the days!

Wow many years ago I was called into the studio to sing ad libs on a record and guess what. This was the record. I was the one singing the ad libs on this record. back then This was my first introduction to a process called sweetening. Which means adding vocals on top of the lead to fatten it up and then do ad libs on top of the lead vocals.

I have been trying my best to order import copies of the remixes for Thats Why. I know they had 3 different version on the maxi-cassette but I cant seem to find any of those alternates on CD5.. any clue where I could find those or am I going to have to dig for the cassette and maybe transfer to digital? Do not make it about race ..its a group of wonderful talented people who do not focus on tearing the races apart but uniting them. Skin color do not matter ..hope God makes every purple so people stop looking at skin color ..all races matter and party knows that ,that is why they are friends and so good togather..race does not matter it can't tell you if a person is good or bad
