I was 10 years old living in Florida and I remember the day the network news broke into regular programming to announce the story. It went something like this: "We interrupt this program to bring you a special news bulletin. Two men in Pascagoula Mississippi were taken aboard a UFO by aliens with large eyes, pointed ears and claws. They were examined by a giant eye and then let go. We now return you tor your regular program." I just looked over at my mom who smirked and said, "Well, I guess they'll be landing any day now"

I know my experience could be proven to be a hoax or even my subconscious playing tricks on me, but I didn't believe in ghosts till after my mother passed away, a week after the funeral I sat in the dining room watching the TV in the living room at the time I was in my first marriage I went to the kitchen to get a beer and when I came back my mother was sitting in the chair across from where I was sitting just like she did every time she wanted to talk to me, and all she said was "she's cheating on you", and she was gone. Three days later I caught my wife cheating on me and the following week I filed for a divorce. Then I saw my mother one last time and she said "the other half of your soul is across the Atlantic", three years later I was on a trip in France and meet my future wife we were married and I moved to France and that was the last time I saw my mother.

My ufo experience was in a car, I was wide awake, I had a passenger. When we saw it we started screaming because it was so scary. We didn’t talk about it with each other again for 25 years and he finally contacted me on social media to ask if I saw what he did. Same story. Same experience. No sleeping, no alcohol or drugs, no trauma, no stress, I was driving him home from a youth group activity when it flew up behind behind my car, hovered slowly over my car, we could see the lights on the bottom of the craft, it was a triangle. After it picked up speed it shot off it made a fast sharp turn I don’t think humans are capable of. Thankfully we didn’t lose any time. But we should exercise caution to not dismiss every surreal experience as our brains lying to us. We have no physical evidence, this was before cell phones, didn’t have a camera with us, but the biggest piece of evidence we have is that neither of us wrote a book.

Next night we are outside playing and a light pops up over the horizon. Uhh...long story short, I waved right hand, light on crafts left side blinked. Left hand, light on right side blinks. Both hands, both lights blink. Next thing we hit the backdoor and flew into the house raising hell and being told to not watch Disney. Seen a ton of strange stuff in the skies, too. Grew up in military, seen just about every aircraft, satellite and shuttle... and whatever else. :)

She and her husband, my Uncle Lawrence Hill, a prosthetist/ped-orthist (maker and fitter of prosthetic limbs) and Vietnam vet, told us kids the stories of this event and a few others since we were small. I was born in 1978 and my aunt and uncle are still alive and well. My aunt was featured in Calvin's book about the abduction. She insists she was also abducted and I have zero reason to not believe her. I experienced sleep paralysis multiple times a year from the age of 2 until 11. I was raised as catholic so I would see good and bad spirits, demons, shadows, and mainly one woman dressed in full white. They were all very vivid and frightening experiences. You can’t breathe, you can’t scream or fight or run. You feel great pressure holding you down and it’s all right there in front of you. It took years for me to be able to break free of the paralysis and run away or hide. I had no clue what it was until my mid twenties when I learned of sleep paralysis. Then it all made perfect sense. You are literally stuck between your dream and reality. A slither between a dream state and consciousness. So it looks and feels very real. Sleep paralysis should definitely be better studied and understood. Now at the age of 42, it is amazing now that I look back at it.

In 1968, at the age of ten, my Mom and I had an up close and personal UFO craft experience. It looked exactly like the one in your video, same size and dimensions exceptit was perfectly smooth, there were no metal plates or visible opening. It was late on summer night, we were walking home from our neighbors house around midnight. We lived in the country outside of Lakeland Florida at the time. As we got close to our house a craft came floating over a large wooded area beside our house, it's still there today. The craft stopped directly over our heads, only about 30 to 40 feet in the air. It made very little sound, there was no wind or air coming from it, all I could feel was some heat. It had a circular row of lights of different colors circling around in time with a very low wha, wha, wha humming noise coming from the craft that we could hear as it got closer to us. As it stopped directly over us, a heavy yellow light came down on us. I say heavy because i coulld feel it, like it had mass to it. As I was looking up at the bottom of the craft in awe my Mom screamed for my brother to come outside and see the craft, as soon as she screamed, the light went up and the craft took of so fast, it was gone in a blink of an eye. It went from hovering over us standing still, to what looked like light speed and was gone. I've seen others over the years at a distance but I have never had another close encounter like that night. I am always looking up at the night sky hoping they would come back. Beam me up Scotty!

When I explain lucid dreaming to people, especially those who don't remember their dreams, they can't understand. Mostly I see a look where they seem to question my sanity. I've learned to keep my lucidity to mostly myself and I consider it a blessing. It doesn't scare me, it's so fleeting and to hold on to it without waking is very difficult. It mostly begins when I see or do something absurd and I snap out of the script.

I've had something similar to lucid dreaming. I'm aware I'm dreaming but yet everything feels so real. It's like I'm living in an alternative reality or multiverse. Throughout my "dream life," I have met so many different people, sentient creatures, and visited places not of this earth. Wish the WhyFiles would cover this particular topic because I know I'm not the only one who experiences this.

The sleep paralysis has happened to me for years especially when I was around 18 in college. You DO hear a strange overwhelming buzzing/droning sound and then your entire body goes numb. I too was a Lucid Dreamer. The orb that scans you, the white room, buzzing sounds, unable to move. Yup, familiar but one difference. I was coming out of a Lucid Dream but I entered Sleep Paralysis. Not saying their stories weren't true, but it can explain a lot of things. Lucid Dreams are fun, but if they end too abruptly, You will be stuck for a few moments in Sleep Paralysis as your mind tries to recover from a Lucid Dream. Shadow People, Ghosts, Entities.. Yup all fragments of a Lucid Dream ending abruptly. Just be careful not to scare yourself too much or you will have a bad time.

I love your channel so much! One of the biggest reasons: I really like the way the veracity of these stories is discussed at the end. Possibilities of truth and falsehood get equal weight and equal discussion without steering the audience one way or the other. You list all the reasons why the story (or subject) could be true and all the reasons it could be false and let the viewer decide what they want to believe. You also discuss the possibility for alternate explanations. Also, no one is ever shamed or ridiculed for their story no matter how crazy or farfetched their story is. Keep up the good work!

I’m not sure how two people can share such experiences. That doesn’t make much sense. Then again, none of this makes any sense to me, even after decades of living through it. Idk if "normal" is the best word to describe your experiences. TBH, it's super lame NOBODY has EVER produced a single shred of actual proof from ANY of these supposed experiences. With it being "SO common", u would think SOMEONE would've managed at least a LEGIT photo of a craft by now. If "aliens" are truly out there, it's my belief that at least some of them were already on Earth long before humans as we know them evolved. Which makes them not "aliens", right?? Idc what kinda "warp drive" or other tech they might have, biological beings aren't traveling the mind-boggling distances from other habitable worlds to get to Earth. There's all sorts of problems that would arise for ANY beings as a result from such inter-stellar/intergalactic travel. Time dilation is a bitch as far as I know. Back to my point... IF there are indeed non-human entities abducting Earthlings, as reported so many times in recent decades, I believe they're interdimensional beings who have no need to travel thru space in ANY way we could conceive of. The movie "Arrival" w Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner is AWESOME. Check it out if ur not already familiar.

He got up and immediately ran off on his bike leaving me about 20 feet from the object. It began to rotate at that moment and hit me with 3-4 blasts of intense pulses of light, I was paralyzed and then passed out. WOW...rocked my world tonight, I had the same thing happen to me when I was 7 or 8 years old. It was a reoccurring dream in which i was totally conscious and sentient as scary woman creature that resembled the evil witch in my Disney Story book. From the corner of the ceiling across from by bed, she and bright light came down and I was not only was I paralyzed, but I couldn't breath either. My heart was racing as I levitated up and into the corner of the celling...up and up and up until I woke up terrorized. This was happening over and over night after night. My mom told me it was just a nightmare and I was in control and that I needed to just wake myself up when I find myself in it. I got better and better at pulling myself out the dream in which I not only woke up, but I tensed and contracted my muscles and literally pulled myself out. Once I got good at pulling myself out fast the dreams went away however my whole life I can always pull myself out of any nightmare in which I feel fear. This episode just validated my childhood experience after almost 50 year. I felt it so much more than what people refer to in a reoccurring nightmare...it was sheer terror as a small child.

At the time of this incident I was living in Pasadena Texas, adjacent the Houston ship channel. I was a member of a Pentecostal church there for many years and was a professional radio presenter. Parker and Hickson were close relatives of an older couple named Collins who were members of our church. I remember Mrs Collins getting hysterical over her two nephews having recently had that experience. She was quite serious and tearfully upset about it. We lived only a few short blocks from the Collins couple. They were simple, honest, and devout Christians, very well liked and respected in the community. I now live in northwest Arkansas.

Only me and my 2 brothers are left alive after what happened but we've moved on and never speak of those years. You know what's messed up? I started having these bizarre and terrifying experiences of sleep paralysis and something called "exploding head syndrome (EHS)" when I was about 28. I'd had a couple before that, but for whatever reason, it started happening A LOT around 28. I could always tell when it was going to happen because as I started lying down to sleep, it felt like there was a static electricity buildup inside my head. That's about the only way I can accurately describe it. The EHS would kick in right before flaking asleep, too. I felt these wooshing pulses of static and then a random "BOOOOOOM" accompanied by a flash of blinding white light....in my head. If I tried to sleep, it would keep happening. It forced me to stay away for another hour or two before the static feeling left. But once I figured out the signs of an incoming episode of sleep paralysis, I started to focus on controlling my panic and working on waking my body. But the messed up part is that, once I learned to control the epsiodes and even to find them somewhat enjoyable, they stopped. See, during sleep paralysis, you also gain the ability to have a lucid dream and manufacture whatever you wanted in your reality. You need a tether, (something around you consistently to focus your attention on) a control item, (something you consciously will into existence during the dream phase) and solid emotional regulation. It's always extremely scary to be unable to move, yet feel a constant sense that you're unable to have any control whatsoever. When that panic sets in, you're in for a terrible and traumatic event. And my main complaint about SP/EHS is that, even upon waking your body, you have the heaviest sense of fog and grogginess imaginable for hours afterwards. You can feel that your brain is trying to shut down your motor controls, but your mind is fixated on avoiding the terror again. During these events, I've seen some of the most terrifying, horrific, bizzare things within the limits of my imagination. But I've also seen some of the most shocking divinity, too. I think it's because your consciousness becomes uninhibited by your body. You can see beyond the thin veil of our waking reality in these moments. There was even a time when I saw a biblical angel (the ones with the spinning circles, large wings, covered in eyes) trying to comfort me while saying, "you are meant to see." I've seen both shadow-people and light-beings. I've seen representations of historical events. I can't necessarily tell you if anything was actually real, but i can tell you that it felt more real than the normal walking world. And i can tell you that after the more extreme incidents, other strange things connected to the experience happened in my normal, waking life. I've seen one of these being grab one of my notebooks in the SP state, only to have the same exact notebook be shoved off the top of a drum in ny basement before my very eyes. I know i can't prove any of this, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. But maybe there's something more to these incidents than a simple biological anomaly. Perhaps it is a consciousness separation or sneak-peek into the other realms. Maybe the options of "real alien abduction" and "sleep paralysis & mass formation psychosis" aren't actually mutually exclusive. If you can ever reach the state of lucid dreaming AND the state of sleep paralysis, you can actually get more insight into what our human experience hides from our minds.

That's the real rub, isn't it? We don't want the hag, or the shadow things, to be real. But it's still on the table, as you say, that our normal brain/consciousness filters out or can't pick up on that stuff until it changes states. That it is all too real, just outside of normal perception. I'm super normal, no interesting experiences, and I'm grateful. I think every spiritual and religious switch just got flipped to off lol. Well, except maybe the "ghost" at my old workplace that could have been badly placed product multiple times... But I still know too many honest people, sane people, with private experiences outside of "normal" to believe that is all there is. I think it's quite prideful and egotistical to assume SO MANY PEOPLE are either crazy, or liars, just because what they report can't be measured or examined directly. We can't measure emotions, or pain levels, but we don't go around denying those experiences. Usually. Sigh. Anyway, thanks for sharing your experiences! I think you are on to something. Hope your sleep continues peacefully and that if you are meant to see, that it stops being frightening for you and you see what you should.
@SGI9995 ай бұрын
All extremely familiar to me. I float and fly through objects and across oceans and time… past and future here and somewhere else. Many very positive experiences but some really scary horrific ones too. The buzz, static electric current, noise falling, fear… came when I didn’t want to let go and would spend hours going through the process again and again -trying to avoid that horrid paralysis . So scary when all you want to do is turn the light on and breathe. I think it is better when you just let go and work on controlling the ‘what when where why and how’s if that makes sense. A positive mind frame is key to a generally positive experience. I had these ‘dreams’ as a young child and they had the power to change my perceptions. I’d get so frightened that I would be fully traumatised for days and didn’t want to go to sleep. I don’t allow it any more. Well… now and then I’ll give in to it It’s good to read such accounts. It makes me feel less of a total loon but I don’t mind being weird. I don’t talk about it really unless someone shares an experience. I think being on beta blockers makes it less likely to come to pass perhaps. Thanks for sharing!❤

I suffered from sleep paralysis from a very young age and it left its mark on my psyche. I didn’t have the words to really describe it until I was in the double digits. By the time I was in my teens I started researching it and stumbled on lucid dreaming practices and took to it very quickly. I’ve always described that moment where you transition from the self-induced sleep paralysis to lucid dreams as the rubber band moment. That sound is indescribable and almost painful. For me it starts in the inner ear and quickly envelopes the space around me. It goes one of two ways, I either snap fully awake because I can’t handle the sensation, or I snap into my travels. Also, I’m familiar with the idea of astral projection and the similarities, but I won’t delve into that here. Always interesting hearing others who practice. Thanks for another great episode.

I actually struggle to wait until the next one of these videos you are a very talented person and I’m sure you have very supportive family but I feel like this is better than a lot of mainstream shows that get really high ratings but im absolutely sure it’s not about the money it’s about the freedom to research, learn and do whatever you want with it but you really are sitting on a gold mine with this show

AJ it occurred to me how we observe Animals and even traqulize them, We insert trackers, while they are asleep then release them back into the wild like nothing happened. They may not be human but Imagine the trauma those animals go through... Now you know what an alien abduction probably feels like..

How about spaying, neutering? Imagine having their g*n*tals removed, did they ask for it ? And we just say , oh it's for their own good 🤬 Then ...throwing them in a cage, like prisoners . Humans are just evil.

It's fascinating how many of the historical descriptions of demons and their nighttime visitations are so similar to current alien visitations. It's also fascinating how people of deep faith seem to know how to fight off these nighttime visitors.

It’s 3:35am in Turkey I was going to sleep after this show. Now after watching it and all the talk about sleep paralysis which I’ve experienced countless times I’m terrified if I go to sleep I will have an episode.

Try having a warm or cold cup of tea or milk, & watch something completely opposite for 15-30 min to shift your state of mind, & get rid of the fearfulness, bc I think fear must be on some frequency that attracts them. I’m not sure how else to say it. Or you can listen to some audio comedy or story as you drift off, that’s upbeat, & a completely different subject.

This channel is so unique. Because of the way he tells the story first I initially wrote this channel off as some kind of kook. I’m so glad I came back and gave it another chance. It has become one of my favorite channels on KZbin. And Hecklefish totally makes the show. I love the dynamic he’s created here. It’s entertaining, fun, and thought provoking. Not an easy combination to pull off!

Hecklefish is a character, indeed. As a Voice Over Talent, I'm intrigued by the actor/sound performer behind it and he could maintain this character alive with his made up voice tone. A talented artist, indeed.

The AI generated imagery is cool and all but I prefer the older, simpler format honestly. Plus, they were able to get the episodes out more regularly.
