grade 5 the teacher brought in all kinds of different pasta shapes and we glued it onto cans and jars etc...then after they dried & we were not there, she spray painted them metallic colours. it all was so beautiful. i gave mine to my great grandma, who REALLY LOVED IT! (was SO impressed with my talent & thoughtfulness (i felt 10ft tall)) i remember explaining to her, no its not REAL gold, just gold paint.
