I couldn't help myself! I've been drooling over The Paster Roses' Instagram and I finally caved and ordered some of their newer shades. I tried some shadows from this brand about a year ago, will these new shades wow me? OR--do I have regrets?

I love my Pastel Roses singles. I use glitter glue almost every time I do my makeup. I seem to have lots of eyeshadow with fallout issues. I love how choco-pink turned out!

Yessss choco pink is so pretty! I definitely enjoyed the looks. The glitter glue helped SO much. Makes me wonder how many other shadows I haven’t had luck with that would look SO different with a dang glitter glue! 🤣

I use glitter glue with so many shimmers! It does not only help with glitters or chunky shades it can improve so many shimmer formulas

I love my Pastel Roses Uk shades but they have different formula, is dryer and i have learned to use them only with finger and always with Nyx Glitter Primer! 🤗 Later edit: exactly what you said 😅

Yes the glitter glue is essential for those drier shades 😉 but they are certainly pretty!

So cool to see you using Pastel Roses. A couple of days ago I received my own order from them which was their two new palettes, Frozen Dreams and Gingerbread Bakery - plus a couple of other singles that I'd been eyeing up. I haven't got a bad thing to say about them, they're no messier than Pat McGrath's "special" formula and a darned sight cheaper (I always use a glitter glue for them and Glam Shop). Their mattes are really smooth and easy to blend and over all I've never been disappointed by a release from them. If you do buy from them again then I'd recommend buying the single shade "Classic" - a neutral lover's dream but with loads of pizzazz:) PS: My Pretties for Your Face order arrived and you are right, Cham Cham is a winner:)

Wooow, beautiful looks, the first one with Choco pink is gorgeous!! I never bought anything from the Pastel Roses, living in Italy Glamshop is the brand the easiest to buy from, shipping is cheap enough and there are no customs fees, besides I think their formulas are comparable? I always use glitter glue as I have deep set hooded eyes and eyeshadows tend to transfer to my crease badly if I don't! I'm very curious to know what you'll think of the new Oden's Eye singles, I watched Lauren Mae's swatch video, she got all the shades in PR and some look quite juicy! I don't like that they are in rectangular pans though 😂🙈

Thank you. I love that Choco Pink shades I would say that I personally like Glamshop better. The Pastel Roses formula is more dry, IMO. But some people seem to like that because it creases less? I love Lauren-she does great videos! I’m looking forward to giving the singles a try!

Not sure if you are still on the hunt for the perfect green/pink eyeshadow but I think Courtyard from Clionadh might be a good option! On my skin it flips from a grass green to pink.

I got that same free shadow, I think everyone I've seen that ordered over Black Friday got that one? When I ordered before my free gift was a shadow from their regular pressed shadow line

In my last order a year or so ago, the multichromes were very... Wet and emollient? But they creased quite a lot So I quite like the drier formula this time 😅

Oh good to know that this was a shadow they popped into all orders-thanks! That makes sense. I can imagine if you have issues with creasing that this formula really helps. Despite my hooded lids, I don’t usually have that issue. But wow it really helped these perform, that’s for sure.

I bought 7 shades a few months ago and I love every one of them . I just ordered 12 of rhr flaky loose pigments too . I prefer pressed and non flaky but they were on sale 😂😂

Are these brands not as sparkly as other brands like terra moon

I think they can be-but they’re not as impactful without a tacky primer. I find that Terra moons shades are usually more smooth and a bit more…creamy? So they glide on. With these I felt like I needed some extra enhancement. That being said, when I DID use the glitter primer they really came alive!
