I'm 61 years old. I have watched this show since approximately 1965. Still love this show.

10:49 I was always curious about one aspect of this episode. In syndication they always cut into the scene where the maid (Margaret Hamilton) is in the living room just as she starts to walk out. I wondered what came earlier in the scene, if she had any lines, etc. Now I see that she never speaks during the entire scene - or indeed, the entire episode. I notice at 12:19 Patty refers to the maid as "Margaret"!

I have never understood how it is that adults want to treat teenagers as children, but on their 18th birthday, suddenly expect them to act like adults.

I was a youngster in the 1960s, but I don't remember a dance called "The Hammer"; I recall the Watusi and the Twist, but not the Hammer. Did I miss something? 🤔

As a 5 yr old wen watching this show I actually thot CATHY was a complete different actress,,not PATTY playn dual roles
@DAquingil Жыл бұрын
She did such a great job with both roles that she really did appear to be two different girls. It wasn’t just the two different accents. All of Cathy’s gestures were completely different from Patty’s, and Cathy was so gentle. My mom thought they were two different girls as well.

LOL! I had to ask my Grandmum the same thing.. It's a retro hairdryer.. They used to wear plastic and sponge hair curlers to bed every night and if they were in a hurry they would use the ancient hairdryer.

“Your mother became your aunt when did she do that?” “When she married my father’s brother.” I thought that Cathy’s mother and Patty’s mother were sisters too. I read that the two were twin sisters and they married Patty’s father snd Cathy's father. Maybe that was wrong.
