Yep you’re right it is Jagger. My point on including it was the suspicious nature of Roger Fraser and that he was arrested on drug charges - presumably for supplying the drugs to the celebrities 🤷🏻‍♂️

Not sure the true reason for Laine splitting will be known; I've heard a few things that Denny was really PO'd after Paul's Japan bust and/or that Paul was taking a step back after John's murder. But not sure, but they seem at least cordial towards one another via social media.

Even Paul’s throwaways are better than the best tracks on most peoples albums. Then you have tracks like ‘Coming Up,’ absolutely stunning. Love Paul’s work and his playful spirit. Long live Paul and his music.

Thank you so much for sharing this delightful homage to Paul. I agree with you that one should not try to meet our heroes in real life. I met him in a dream I had a few years ago where we shared a lovely low key conversation. It was so vivid, I don't wish for more.

Mccartney and the rest of the Beatles are and have been so influential and inspired so many of us to pick up and learn an instrument that the guitar and instrument companies, owe a lot to them , to mention but a few!Thank you Beatles and thank you Tudor for helping remind us of their amazing contributions in so many spheres of society and hopefully to new generations as well! There won't be anything like them again! Cheers!🇬🇧🇨🇦🙏👍

They were ground breaking. Many will argue that they needed Brian Epstein and George Martin to help them achieve what they did but there’s no denying that the lads had the talent and tenacity to push through.

@@TudorSmith What amazes me is that they didn't know they had these songwriting abilities either ...at the time of meeting George Martin, the best song they could come up with was Love me do ?? But they flourished right away and consistently got better and better. I guess you just have to beleive in yourself!

I won't say Paul's my favorite either. 😉 But his music, especially after the Beatles, has been extremely important in my life! I was 5 in 1970, and my Uncle used to listen to the Beatles, and all the other bands at the time, but I really got excited by Paul's, and the Beatles music! It's kind of like something that's always been there for me in any situation. I was very lucky to see him live in April of 1993, and it was one of the best things in my life! I'm really enjoying these videos that you have made! Thanks again! I can't wait to go watch another one! I'm just randomly going through this treasure trove!😄🤝

This was a great watch. I've bookmarked it and I will watch it again. I remember discovering The Beatles' music when I was a young boy. And later getting McCartney's solo catalogue and falling in love with his music. He inspired me to learn guitar, piano and bass, learn Beatles-songs and also writing my own music. That itself is a priceless gift. When performing at a concert I had put on the vest from Magical Mystery Tour. As usual, I played my Hofner 500/1 and Rickenbacker bass. We played some Beatles songs, but other music as well. After the concert, several people came up to me and hugged me. Many said it was like seing Macca. I think I received a part of their love for him that night. It was magical. One of the greatest compliments I've received is being told I look like him. Before another concert last year, which was incidentally on a rooftop terrace bar, I also played my Hofner. I happened to have a beard at that time. And I wore a dark suit and white shirt. Someone asked me if I was aware of the all similarities with Beatles' rooftop concert. I hadn't thought about it. But that night I had a fantastic dream. I dreamt I was giving the concert, and Paul walked in with his current band. He was very cheeky and said "not bad young lad, but I think I can do better". And he gave us all a small concert. Later we sat in the bar talking. The dream was so life-like, and I cherish the memory of it. Even though it all just happened in my head. At a couple of McCartney concerts, I've had a good spot close to the stage. On two occations I've held up a small note with a message. Both times he saw the little message, looked at me, pointed at himself and mouthing "do you mean me?". And when I nodded, he laughed. I cannot explain the feeling it gave me. It was like time stopped, and my whole body was flowing with electricity, and I didn't notice anything else than him. There is some special force within him for certain.

Just discovered your stuff about The Beatles and associations. I came to appreciate them only after they split up (I was only 10 when they came to the end of their adventure) and I love 'em. After learning gently about them over many years I thought I'd got a pretty full picture of them.... Then I saw, by happenchance, your films. I am of the unshakeable view that the world will forever be a better place because of them. Thank the lord... and, thank you for for your knowledge shared

I'm not a contrarian but I believe The Beatles aren't influential enough! Too often we have bands with no harmonies and/or just one lead vocalist and my favorite gripe...boring, stay on the tonic bass lines. We need more bands, and more bands to break out of the typical band template.

I’ll never forget seeing Sir Macca at the Cardiff Millenium Stadium in, I think, 2010? Nearly 3 hours of hits, belting out Beatles, Wings and solo songs impeccably. I seem to recall singing along with virtually every song! I then promised I wouldn’t watch his Glastonbury performance last year - I was afraid that his voice was too far gone - but I was very wrong - another stellar performance! My only regret is that I didn’t see him during the 1990/91 world tour - I thought his band at the time was perhaps his best solo touring band (the current one is great, but it always looked as though Hamish, Robbie and Paul were having such a great time playing together - and I’m a big fan of Robbie McIntosh’s guitar playing!) And like you, it’s been Paul above all others, who has most inspired my own playing, singing and attempts at writing songs.

The two people he felt closest to died early John (tragically) and Linda. Put George in there too. Plus, he has been in prison. Horrible divorce. Deceived by a so-called friend who stole his pride and joy songs (Michael Jackson), Drugs and maybe a few other things that we don't know about. But he seems to have handled it well. Random thoughts I wanted to share with you. PS my wife isn't interested in music, so I have to tell someone! LOL.
