The more of her work I hear the more my heart hurts and feels good... all at the same time. I've never met her and yet I miss her.

I’ve been in love with this album and Judee Sill since the first listen in ‘73.

This song is so beautiful. I'm going to sing this for my schools talent show :D Even though I know 99% of the numbnuts that go to my school wont understand this kind music. Such a shame :/

Did you do sing the Judee Sill song 7 years ago at the talent show?

Just beautiful lyrics and melody. She knew how to articulate words so perfectly and poetically. I love her American folksy pronunciations. Such a talented performer.

Such a talent, pure and under appreciated. She left us far too soon. On a par with compatriot Laura Nyro. God bless both Judee and Laura.

To: Anne Marie Callaghan. I fully agree with your assessment of Judee Sill. She is so perfect in the articulation of her words. Love playing through her album Heartfood. What's your favourite? Many thanks for giving me the opportunity to respond to your views. Best wishes. Roy Anderson.

@@royanderson2847 The Kiss, The Pearl. Both wonderful songs. I’m no expert but I lived through 70’s music as an undergraduate and listened to Joni and other connected artists but never came across Judee. Why, I wonder, did I not discover her until a random radio 4 profile of her a few years ago?

it's almost eerie in its perfection. she speaks an unvarnished truth.

Does anyone else see the similaries in Peark and Joni Mitchell? I dont mean that negatively i love both
@lachlansleight11 ай бұрын
Judee Sill and Joni Mitchell were both signed to Asylum Records at the same time and they had the same sound engineer, so it makes sense that you can hear some similarities (although by all accounts Judee would have resented the comparison :P)
