Them old school days on Norwood High Street South Norwood in 06 at Morleys getting 6 wings and chips for 2 pounds or at most with a drink 2.89 Whitehorse road, Croydon Morleys used to do £1 pound munch box like 4 wings and chips or 1 piece and chips. Good times 2001- 2012 for the high street chicken shops

Chips were just cooked properly, not particularly "well done". The potato inside the crispy shell was uncorrupted by the oil, denouncing the notion you alluded to, in that it could have been overfried. Not really my steelo, but I hear it.

Yo bro I seen you been doing bits in the manor, Crouch End, turnpike, Eden’s from day1, I beg you try Shayana perfect fried chicken on Hornsey road. Best wings in Izzy imo and I’m a chef. I can’t say I’ve had better wings anywhere really, Eden’s cottage was comparable once upon a time, plus they got peng bbq wings. I reckon you’d like the whole ting still, only downside is the shops a bit small, but I used to chill wid a couple of the mandem no drama. The go to spot in the ends fr. Safe init 😁
