My guy you went to the wrong Whitechapel friend chicken. The popular one is the one that's actually on Whitechapel road, next to the station (has white signage). You went to a new shop that opened a few years ago that's not actually on Whitechapel road, nor really in Whitechapel. If you do go to the one that's been around 30+ years I'd recommend the BBQ wings, or the lamb diner. Both good. Try the chili sauce with your chips.
