@@cmbrock1 yeah that’s what I see will happen as well.. oz told his girl where they were hiding at and Sofia knows about oz’s girl so Sofia will get the info from her and find oz’s mom and kill her for payback from Alberto’s death and oz will then blame Vic which might lead his character down the path to becoming Zsasz (or Zsasz could just be a red herring and oz will kill Vic)

And while he couldn't chop off Alberto's head, he showed a great deal of knowledge about anatomy when he talked to Oz about it. He has the knowledge, he only lacked the ruthlessness, but it's only a matter of time for that to change.

They kinda used it on the show Gotham and in the movie The Dark Knight Rises

I hope by the end of the show, Penguin gets what he wants: his very own penthouse, nightclub, and maybe even a design that reflects his high-class comic book appearance. A top hat, long classic coat with fur trim. Something that really elevates him as the iconic crime lord he's known to be. So by the events of The Batman 2 we'll see a Penguin who's closer to his comic counterpart.

I also like the theory that Rex Calabrese wore an outfit similar to the Penguin from the comics, which could explain why Oz may adopt that style. Growing up, he might have been inspired by the gangster he looked up to as a child. Episode 7, according to the list, is titled "Top Hat," so maybe we'll explore this aspect in a flashback. I feel like the writers have got to include a lore reason for why this Penguin would wear a top hat other than it being iconic to the character in the comics.

Oz is going to spin that as her trying to cut them out and that's exactly what it looks like. He'll say he took the Bliss to make good with them aka a show of loyalty. He's got so many connections from running the Falcones drops operations for years. Now it looks like the old families are going after the Triads? #ThePenguin☔

It won't get a S2. However, if they wanted, they could make more limited series as an ongoing thing. Almost like an anthology where we see different perspectives of Gotham. A focused series on a particular character but only if it makes sense in the context of the main story and developing that character. I honestly wouldn't have a problem w/that. Show the films from Batman's pov and the series from the villains/antagonists or supporting characters pov. Just a suggestion.

@@breakbones47 Doubtful Reeves will touch on fantastical villains since his Batverse is more grounded. However, I can see those characters being used in the shared DCVerse. TBH, I'm ready for more villains/antagonists that haven't been explored yet. If Batman has 1 of the best rogues gallery, then show that. I'm tired of the same overused villains. There's a lot of characters to play with. I'm really hoping Reeves touches on Court of Owls since we haven't seen them on film. A door was left open on the Waynes' backstory in The Batman so, I'm hoping it leads down that path, but we'll see. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think that’s what the plan is. They had a plan for shows within GCPD and Arkham respectively. The GCPD show would’ve taken place before The Batman following a cop who teeters on that line of good cop and corrupt cop. It is said there may be more spin-offs from characters in this universe.

I think the idea that Sofia was a "really good person" before she was framed for the Hangman murders seems a bit inaccurate. She seemed quite pleased with the idea of taking over the Falcone family from her father, whom she had helped prop up and assist with political connections and legitimacy. Her father also commended her toughness, which seems very indicative to me given Carmine's own sensibilities. After all, what kind of person would Carmine, of all people, regard as "hard" like himself? Likely not someone we would generally perceive as "good".

Some actually believe Sofia wasn’t truly good to start with. Like they forget that she believed her dad did good things and all that was said were lies cause he was a top man. She treated Penguin kindly. She joked with him about him being her driver and admitted it was a crappy job. Alberto called him “Penguin” and she told him to not call him that. We saw her reaction to how she was when she realized her dad unalived 6 women and her mom (Summer Gleason becoming the newest victim). She was in denial when realizing who her dad is. And when Alberto even tried to tell Sofia that there’s no proof to that she yelled at him to wise up cause those women are the ones she was being framed for. Sofia was good even she associated with criminals but we can see she didn’t truly know. We’ve seen it in mob movies when the wife realizes her husband isn’t who she thought

Not sure if I’m alone on this, but I thought Batman doesn’t care as much with what happens within the crime families themselves. They’re not killing random innocent people so this gang war isn’t on his radar at the moment. Some people thought it was weird that he “allowed” Oz to deal some drops at the club in the movie but he wasn’t there for that. He was brought into the events of the movie because the Mayor was murdered and Gordon asked him to help.

Oz is Batman adopting recently orphaned Robin. Sophia is the Joker with the love-struck Arkham psychiatrist throwing their life away. If things play out the usual way Sophia will kill Vic but, unlike Batman, Oz will not think twice about killing the Joker. (I am hyped for Batman 2 becayse I liked the first movie but not hyped by this show for Batman 2. In this Penguin world Batman would be a clown. Seriously. Imagine Batman walking into any scene in this show without everyone laughing. He strikes fear in the hearts of criminals? Why? He is the only person in Gotham who probably won't torture them to death.)
