I knew Sofia would be fine about halfway through the season because of one thing and one thing only: She's related to Catwoman and they were not addressing that at all (until this final episode). That was the giveaway, Sofia has to live, because she has to meet Selina.

I got the impression the entire duration of the show was a bit longer than the 3-4 weeks you guys theorized. It could be because I'm just not well versed on how long it takes a drug operation to get up and running, but it had to take at least a few months of a jump to get from an abandoned underground trolley station with 2 near-rotten buckets of bliss mushrooms to a fully operational drug lab with dozens of recruited employees and an fully established distribution network throughout a very large city. Just my $.02 though

Yeah you're probably right. There was a bit of a time jump there between the episode where he showed Vic the tunnels to the next episode where they're fully up and running.

And like that it's over...at least for Now! Man, I loved you guys recaps of this show! And I LOVED this Show! They "stuck the landing" in the finale for me, it was the best payoff for a series in a long time. I wasn't really looking forward to the sequel to "the Batman" because I didn't care for the movie all that much, (although I'm A huge Batman Fanatic), but this series now have me HYPED to see it! And the best thing they did on this show, was let Oz be an unredeemable VILLAIN! so many of these comic book shows/movies makes bad guys out to be some "anti-Hero" or misunderstood victim, but they went full on Villain with the penguin and that one of the many reason i liked it so much. For me it's one of the best, if not the best comic book shows of all time! #VengenceforVIC

Eve is working with Selena 🐈‍⬛ theory: I think Eve told Selena the truth (as she knows it) of Sofia’s tragic story. Eve cares about women. She wants justice for Sofia and to be rid of the 🐧 She knows that the 🐧 is a monster. She knows that he will kill her in a heartbeat if it serves his purpose. She wants him to pay. Selena is game. Selena 🐈‍⬛ and Sofia 💃 are going to paint the town red. Meanwhile… Bruce has been trying to fix Gotham since the events of the movie in alternate ways. His efforts aren’t being felt in the most devastated areas. But he’s trying to work within the rules of society instead of being the embodiment of vengeance…brutally beating criminals into submission. At some point, Bruce won’t have a choice. He’ll have to become the Dark Knight 🦇

Great work gents! Not sure if it has been mentioned by you all or in the comments, but when OZ is in the court room, all the curtains/drapes around him are shaped like massive owls. My theory is we will see The Court of Owls somewhat in Batman Part II but will be the main villain in Part III.

Eve told Sofia where *_Oz_* was. Earlier, when Oz was asking her to run with him, she cut him off before he actually told her that his mum was coming too. I don't think Eve knew Francis was alive at that point...

I feel like Vic's last coffin nail is that all the other gangsters would see that Oz has a soft spot for Vic. Sure he's not thrilled for Vic to see him blubber like 3 yo. But what's worse is Vic is out there in the world for anyone to use him in order to get to Oz. Having family makes you vulnerable. Also, paranoid Oz never knows when Vic will see him for who he really is and turn on him like everyone else. From Wilde's Reading Gaol, "Some do the deed with many tears, And some without a sigh: For each man kills the thing he loves, Yet each man does not die." Better to do the 'getting' than to get got yourself.

Seems like there's plenty of time for a new origins series for the Riddler, the Joker or Bat Girl. Cuz I can't get enuf of Sophia. Who seems very similar to Batman in that they struggle with the their side. So yes Ross, let's get Bat Girl to break Sophia free. And team up as their own dynamic duo.
