Clancy Brown is quite the presence isn’t he? It’s awesome how well he understands his character. He uses “I” when he talks about Sol. I admire that in an actor

Dude I'm afraid for Batman. These villains don't F around. Riddler floods the city, Sofia blows up a street corner. Oz has no Fs to give from birth. This is Gotham Prime for me. Thank you for letting me visit.

Not me, i want more seasons! With the last new Batman(not impressed) movie Oz will obviously die in the second. I want more seasons, i don't care for the last Batman movie. I do love the Nolan Batman movies, Nolan was the first who pushed super hero movies in a realistic/plausible direction.

@@geordiemc4571 So the suicidal/EMO Batman is better? I don't mind a different Batman, i only said that Nolan was the first who pushed it into a more realistic direction... i mean do you prefer the 90'/cartoon Batman?

@@IMTC-ri9jw Batman has always been emo. The playboy act is called a “persona” for a reason. Unless you just look at Bruce/Batman on a basic surface level

I would love to see Oz transform the old, rundown Monroe’s into the new iceberg lounge. It seems like a charming place that would perfectly match Oz’s aesthetic, complete with a top hat and suit. A timeless inviting atmosphere that his mother would be proud of as a business he oversaw.

Such a great show!My biggest stress is that I want both Oz and Sofia to win. They both are so evil? But yet have a heart.Seeing Sofia’s maternal side was epic acting. And eye opening about her character.Oz with his Mom is sweet. They both have some ability to actually love.

Martin Scorsese always cited Zampano of Fellini's La Strada as a key inspiration for his many unconscious brute protagonists. But I feel like I've never quite seen Zampano in Scorsese's films. But this Oz Cobb character captures that same vibe perfectly. Oswald is depicted as a profoundly unconscious character, unable and unwilling to reflect on his actions, incapable of looking inward. Now we have one episode to go, I find myself wondering if, like Zampano, he'll have a brief, devastating moment of clarity, and truly wake up to who and what he is. That seems like the moment that made Fellini's film immortal, and it's a moment I don't feel like I ever saw in any Scorsese film. I'm not at all clear what will happen in the end of this show, which I think is yet another indication of the brilliance of its writing. But I feel the story of Oz Cobb won't quite be complete if he isn't confronted by his true nature, and the horror of it. If not, it'll just be a portrait of a mindless monster. He's clever and cunning, sure, but to me, a character without a soul can't quite carry a story. Learning that Oz really never cared about anything or anyone but himself, that he's just mindless greed and bloodlust all the way down, without a shred of self-reflection, I don't think that'd be all that satisfying. Of course, we'd still have Sophia, and I'm more invested in her anyway. But I hope Oz has a moment like the end of La Strada, where he looks inward and truly faces the horror of what he is.
