100% agreed!!! Pattinson's Batman reminded me of the Batman year 1 comic series. I also loved seeing Paul Dano back in film. Incredible actor, and if you haven't seen "There Will Be Blood", do yourself a favor and check that film out. I didn't read much about the newest Batman iteration because I wanted to be surprised. Dano's Riddler was incredible, and I didn't even realize that Colin was in this film until one of my kids told me. I hope they make more.

However many photos or trailers I see of this I still cannot see any glimpse of Colin Farrell under that makeup. Sure there are loads of fantastic prosthetics throughout movie history but a good 98% of the time you can still see who it is whether from the eyes, mouth or a simple facial or vocal tic but nope, not a flicker here. Loved Farrell in The Batman despite his somewhat brief screen time so looking forward to seeing more of him in the show as recent years have really shown how fantastic an actor he is (The Lobster, Killing of a Sacred Deer, Seven Psychopaths, The Banshees of Inersherin and In Bruges) And all this from a guy who started out in Ballykissangel and was nearly in Boyzone!
