Dan You have a lot of courage to visit Ukraine in such hard times, salute. Maybe visit Poland after? We are close (we are neighbours with Ukraine). There are a lot of people from Ukraine in Poland and from my experience most of them are humble and hard working people. I hope everything will be alright in Ukraine, its super sad to hear all the stories about whats happening. I was devastated when a person from Ukraine told me her father at age of 50+ has gone to war. I just could not imagine that. Peace.

Thumbs up for the Ukrainians & for their strength and spirit & the outstanding solidarity and togetherness they have shown over the last dreadful year. I'm Polish, based in Krakow where over the last 10 years or so I have met so many Ukrainians I could not even count. They were my classmates, colleagues, friends or just random folks I'd sometimes come across here and there. Just normal people we would simply talk/laugh/drink/party/sometimes argue/work etc with. A neighbouring nation that I've always found so similar to us in many ways, not just linguistically. It's sad that it takes war to make you realise what a blessing it is to have such NORMAL neighbours over the border. A nation that will not suddenly want to forcibly deliver you their "мир" on their tanks one day. Which, sadly, the Ukrainians have been experiencing for the last 11 months. I hope Russia steps back/loses/disappeares/drowns/burns or whatever. The sooner the better. Slava Ukrainie 💙💛

It's so good to see a video that shows what Ukrainians think as for some reason what I see is mostly people asking what Russians think, which just gets depressing very fast. I am not surprised that so many like Ukraine because of the people, these are people I'd be proud of too but sadly even though I live just around the corner in Slovakia, I feel people here act more like Russians. This war really made me realize how many bad people live around me, it's just sad.

Hi guy's..thanks for this video..really interesting , & awakening really , when people are given the opportunity to speak their mind...voice their opinions...shows that " democracy " is inherent within anybody...it is essentially free speech. This is what Ukraine represents in its defense against the Russian invasion..free speech ! Greetings from Sydney Australia!!

I Remember Now That The Most Charming Peoples & Culture From The Former Soviet Union, Which I Studied In High School In The Later 1970's, Were All UKRAINIAN! It Has Kind Of Puzzled Me For Years That Most Ukrainians Choose To Still Speak Russian...Even After 1991...😬 God🙏Bless & Keep🇺🇦Ukraine & It's People!💙💛 Bring An END To The Evil Which Attacks Them & Bring Them Victory, Peace, Soverignty & Renewal🇺🇦🙏🙌 As A Descendent Of Czech Ancestors, Ukrainians Feel Like "Distant Cousins...." Ukraine is one of the largest countries in Europe by territory. Front lines are in the east. Of course it’s not totally safe anywhere because Russians strike everywhere they want across the country and you never know their “schedule for attacks”. But many cities and towns, especially in western Ukraine, are relatively safe (if you compare to what’s happening close to front lines though 😢). But again. You never know when things escalate. Recently there was a Russian strike in Dnipro, centre/east, into the apartment block, which killed 40 people and injured many more.

What I love about Ukraine: 1. People, the spirit of freedom, dignity, unity, bravery. After the missile strike on Dnipro people have crowdfunded over 100 million uah for survivors. We’ve crowdfunded a satellite, numerous drones, cars, medicines, etc. Those who can’t fight support those who can. Those who didn’t loose their homes help those who did. 2. Beautiful nature. Preserved traditions. Everyone should visit Carpathian Mountains, for example. 3. Digitalization. You don’t need your paper documents anymore, you have your passport, driver’s license and tax id in your phone and at accepted everywhere. Apple Pay available everywhere. 4. Level of service. From amazing restaurants to hair/nail salons - a just think they’re the best in the world.
