Absolutely beautiful model, this video convinced me to get one as soon as possible! One modification I would have done is add in the little trafficators in the B pillar (no turn signal lights until 1958-ish), but otherwise this is simply stunning. Do agree it should come in more colors though.

That car was actually an exact replica of the original real kommandeurwagen 82e that the German army used during ww2 war, and they did included portal axles and 4wheel drive system!👌😎👍I actually put a pop 1/12 scale German sniper figure inside mine!👌😂👍and now it really looks realistic!

I got mine 2 days ago, and absolutely love it. So cool and so much fun. I’m pretty sure it’s called the people’s car because when it first rolled off the line, VW didn’t actually exist yet. I could be wrong tho….Anyway as I said I love this thing. I have a bunch of crawlers, this is my first “car”. Having a blast. Thanks!!!!❤

The old beetle that is modeled after had a swing axle rear suspension that would camber a lot on bumps and in corners The independent suspension in the back of that is much easier to handle lol

I don't really see a huge difference between the 2 versions. Be careful during the disassembly process. Painting should be easy if you take the car apart. Just a bit of sanding and maybe some primer, and it will be ready to paint. 👍

This would have been a great car at 1:10 scale, but at 1:12, it's a swing and a miss for me. Having the odball size completely ruins the scale-ness as soon as it's next to something else.

You are one of my favourite KZbinrs and i love your videos but i want toget into converting model kits to Rc i have a 1 25th scale model but i dont have a printer to make parts nor do i live in the Us so i cant buy parts, if anyone knows any other youtubers i could watch to help me build it please tell me Thank you

Well I can't tell you much about RC KZbin, but I think the primary question is what you intend to do for parts. You could acquire a printer or at least access to one, or maybe try something else, like cutting the parts out of plastic sheets etc. or buy and fit it to a commercially available chassis. I think the approach you choose will be key in figuring out what to look for in terms of tutorials as well.
