That's not the reason Bison got censored. The reason was because of the the ESRB rating of the game which was "T" (for teen) which means that the game can be played by teenagers. This means that Need for Speed Most Wanted was kind of a "kid friendly" game. A good and very noticeable example is the song "My Hood" by Suni Clay" which is also in this game. if you pay attention to the lyrics, they blur out the word 'murder' of the hook that says "I tell 'em everywhere anywhere is [murder]" replacing it with a DJ sound effect. All of this due to the ESRB Ratings of the game. If it was a game rated "M" like Grand Theft Auto as a good example, it'll contain very frequent use of strong language and strong lyrics, none of which this game contains due its ESRB "T" ratings.
