I use optima yellow top batteries and they usually last me 7-10 years.

I just bought a yellow top today, group 35. I’m also doing the GM diode mod. How’s your experience with if so far? I’m debating returning it and getting something else. I haven’t installed it yet. Thanks!

No issues whatsoever honestly. I use yellow top in my 2016 4Runner and 2006 tundra. They run great and never left me stranded.
