Yes, I needed this! Could you also do a video on HOW to pick up the acrylic? I struggle so much with the liquid to powder ratio. :(
@heathermullins36204 жыл бұрын
Yes!! Me too! I drop my beads back down in the powder, or I get my beads too dry or too runny, I can hardly ever get it right. Especially my bead for my cuticle.
@LiddohhOnee4 жыл бұрын
Instead of dragging the brush in the acrylic powder, I feel like dipping the brush lightly on the top surface works way better for me!
@heathermullins36204 жыл бұрын
@@LiddohhOnee I never could get mine to work doing the dragging thing, that was always a disaster for me. Dipping works way better for me too. Ive been doing way better since dipping. I still struggle with how wet and how dry the bead should be. A good brush makes all the difference too!

Heather Mullins yes! most definitely! I realized the brush really does matter and makes a difference.

Thanks for explaining the patting motion. I get it now. I think the patting motion not only controls the bead but also makes the acrylic lay flat. I love the angle you used, I can see the movements you use which helps a lot 👍🙏

These are beautiful❤️ I’m 36 weeks pregnant and the one thing I continued to do for myself the whole time was get my nails done..mine are about this long and I also have a 10 month old son and people act like if you’re a woman with long nails you can’t properly care for your kids lol🤰🏽🤷🏽♀️😂 obviously that’s not the case I’ve had my nails the same length since I was 14 so it feel weirder if I break them or don’t have them done! Great job boo!❤️👌🏽 May Allah continue to bless you and yours as well as anyone reading this👑😇

I have a toddler, he just turned four. I have long nails, not this long, but I'd actually like to have them this long. The length I have I've had since way before I had him, while i was pregnant, even when he was a new born. The nurses at the hospital would comment on my nails, I needed to cut them. I'm use to them! I'd never hurt my child, if I thought I would hurt him I wouldnt have them. I tried to explain that to them, then just basically told them mind their own business lol. I still have people ask me how I take care of him, properly I guess, with my long nails. I'm just use to them, natural nails are way more sharp! My nails may once in a while poke him, hardly ever, but never ever scratch or cut him. I do my own nails for the most part. But I've gone and had them done and when I tell them the length I want most all of them say "you don't need them that long, you have a child" and they still go way shorter than I ask for and want. I want what I ask for, what I pay for. I dont need parenting advice. And I'm like you said, I feel so weird when I don't have my long nails, I feel like I cant do as much...... wear your nails how you want! It dont effect your ability to be a good parent! I've seen women with short nails, no nails that were horrible mothers!

Heather Mullins awe this made my day I agree with everything you just said!! Thankfully I’ve been going to my nail tech since I was 12 so she literally does exactly what I want no questions asked!! I actually have an appointment on Monday for a fill and I’m so excited 😂 lol doing little things like keeping up with my nails keeps me feeling well groomed and pampered! Thank you for taking the time out to comment I appreciate it!! Have a great day and Valentine’s Day!!❤️ May God continue bless you and yours and be safe🙏🏽😇🤰🏽💅🏽

I agree its kinda annoying that people act like long nails r a type of handicap lol 8 outta 10 times I go into a store or just the public in general, I have someone saying "Oh my goodness how do u get by with those nails!? I wouldn't b able to function with those!" Ughhhh 😂 U get used to it and idk why that seems so odd to people lol

Thank you so much for the tutorial!!! If I could give some constructive criticism from a friendly subscriber of yours ☺️☺️ Your video was extremely helpful and the music was nice but for someone who struggles with learning things to begin with the music vocals are pretty distracting. You described things so well and I wish I could hear YOU better than the vocals. You’re doing yourself a disservice because we come to your channel to hear YOU teach us, not so much for the vocals. Love your videos and your channel girlie 🥰❤️

I think you done a great job explaining! I understood what you were saying. I'm gonna try the patting method! I always swipe too soon, I didn't realize it til this video, but now I know. I end up having to use a ton of different beads. Also the way you show your work and explain, can you plz do a video on cuticle application!? I was watching you do yours and it's different than how I've been told and shown. Your way looks so good and so much easier. I struggle with cuticle application so bad! I was told to apply the bead, get my brush behind the bead, kinda sculpt it, then swipe it (hard to explain) but my way, the way I was told DONT WORK, not for me anyway. I would apply my bead, kinda just push it back a little, let it flow, and I was told it was wrong. But that looks like to me that's how you do it....... Sorry, this ended up being a long comment and I could have just said cuticle application plz lol. And liquid to powder ratio plz, picking up beads. I have trouble with that too. I just have all kinda trouble.... Again I think you do a great job! On your nails and your videos!!!

The way you're able to apply your axrylic look so effortless. When I apply mine it seems to dry too fast that I don't have time to form it. Then I apply more mononer to try to smooth it, but that make a mess and you can see separation of beads used. 😭
