Hell yes Brian! These trails look so epic! Shuttling! That's my type of riding. Looks like you are getting better at jumping. Keep at it! What I always tell myself: Get comfortable with being uncomfortable! That's how we improve at all aspects of our lives.

Hey Brian it's your friend Steph from Austria and I have to tell you that I really like these new little features where the trail names and the difficulty is written on the left side!! Your channel gets better and better my friend! I purchased a trek slash 9.7 because I improved my riding skills extremely and I needed something more aggressive then my fuel ex! I hope you'll answer me and it would be so cool if one day we would ride together! Keep up the amazing work your fan and friend Steph!

Love the videos Brian and your take on mtb and spreading the word about the sport and all the sick trails out there. My riding style is much like yours, although I would like to get much better at bigger drops and start taking on some proper jumps - got to dial in the basics first though. The trails in this video would be prime for me, but we got good ones in Oregon also. Big props to you man, keep it up.

Boondocker looks like my kind of trail, and that would be a blue without a doubt anywhere near here, if not a black. Riding in dust like that is always a challenge, because there's that one baby head or angled root that's just waiting to take you out. Nice job dealing with it, and not whining. Great video as always!

Another great video. Love the way you trust the bike and let it do its work down those trails. That is something I need to get more consistent with. Another fine video from BKXC. Let's do this! 3:31 - He says it's a little loose. My thought was, "man, that grass is tall and it's closing in!" 3:51 - You've been having the pleasure of riding in places that have had lakes, lately. I'm envious. Although the complaints of how loose the trails are might indicate this place hasn't had rain recently. 4:28 - I had to look up "brown pow". Since I'm doing this at work, I had to be very careful when it came to clicking the results. Some of those definitions have NOTHING to do with mountain biking! 😳 5:35 - Steep powder..."steep pow"? haha! 5:47 - Wow, now that's dusty! 9:00 - Looks like some of those boards on the log ride were not fully secured. 13:06 - Dude, I think you've moved to a skill level that I haven't graduated to, at this point. I'm not sure I'd have the mindset to take these steep drops like you are. Unless the camera is making them look worse than they were (which would be the opposite of what I've seen in the past). 13:14 - Haha! A stop sign on a trail, just before a huge drop. That's funny. 13:52 - I'm going to assume that the trail is much more evident in real life? Because I can hardly tell where it is in the video. 14:17 - Those features look dangerously rickety, to me. So here's a funny thing - I'm getting ready to head up to Flagstaff, AZ for some National interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) action (I volunteer with my local high school MTB racing team) and so my mind set is geared towards that. While watching this video, I actually forgot you were in Canada and started associating the terrain to Flagstaff. I had to remind myself several times that you weren't up there. How funny is that? Another great video, Brian. Until tomorrow, #SUAKTRSD (Stay Upright And Keep The Rubber Side Down)

Trail maintenance is next to impossible when it is this dry, even harder when the whole area is on fire. The western US and Canada can really use a wet winter. I have two sons who live by the Colombian Gorge, it breaks my heart to see the area in flames. I am heading to Yosemite/Wawona today and will be dealing with the Railroad fire. Could you show a snapshot of that custom bike rack and how Matt built it. Call it Brian's Bike Hacks.
