this is great advice. do i need to be concerned that the arms will tend to follow the pivot,and might be drawn too inside on the backswing?
@GolfCoachDrNoel12 күн бұрын
I don't think so. When you say pivot, the top half isn't rotating early in this move. As the trail hip moves backwards the lead arm is stretching across to promote the ribcage rotating in a sequential manner. The arms are definitely not dragged inside as per the lawnmower drill. It's a great drill but that is a big distinction.

How do I get from the moving forwards and backwards to slamming the face of the club into the back of the ball?
@GolfCoachDrNoel12 күн бұрын
I am guessing from the question that you are concerned about a lack of lateral pressure and arm pull? The legs are moving forwards and backwards which is producing a rotational torque in your lower half. The upper half will then rotate as a response. There will also be an element of vertical and lateral baked in to this motion. Like anything in golf though, I suppose you could overdo the forward and back at the expense of all the above mentioned forces.
