I have it also. The i7, 1Tb, 4060 version. I love it!! Added another 2TB M.2 and just upgraded the RAM to two 16gb sticks. This laptop is a beast and runs so cool.

I have to mention that you can actually use a 2280 nvme SSD in the 2nd slot as it has the mounting hardware with the screw including.

@@imchecotech No issues, You are still learning and some laptops have movable mounts so it happens also it is 2560 x 1600 which is QHD+ or 2K+ not FHD. Love your video.

Great review!I just bought this beast yesterday and I'm loving it! The only problem is that the max camera quality is 720p 30fps... I saw the specs list online and it said that It should be 1080p 60fps. I already updated the drivers but it's still the same. Do you know of a way that I can resolve this?

The Helios Neo 16 isnt the direct predecessor asf. You should look at the Helios 16 instead

One thing I've noticed is the majority of the reviews I've seen here on KZbin have been getting noticeably lower FPS even in the same games at the same settings as mine. Maybe yall are using the factory Nvidia settings, IDK . But in my region mine doesn't have all the extra graphics on the lid and the lights on back. Mine is basically the same specs but with a 1TB M.2.

If u want 2k(2560×1600p) gaming then go with 4060, if ur budget is tight then 4050 is a beast for FHD+(1920×1200p) and decent for 2k with external monitor

4060 have a 10-15% advantage over a 4050. Depending on you budget you may can save some money this way

Acer nitro especially older versions (acer nitro 5) has heating issues. The Neo with a 40 series rtx is more future proof, Liquid metal cooling, updated fans, better build, better CPU, better RT and ofc DLSS frame gen. Also the fact that 3070tis cost more than a mere 4050 laptop. The only exception i would make to choose a 3070ti over a 4050 neo 16 is if its an Acer Predator Helios 300 3070ti, but alas its just the lowly acer nitro 5 2022 Not worth it. Get the 4050 neo 16
