guess I'm late but to anybody checking this video out. This recipe is a hit tho and i've never been complimented on mash potatoes before. my family never are interested in it usually either but following this recipe to a tee and they were loving it. perfect use of my instant pot too when the stove was full. dont skip on the sour cream cause it really tied it all in together and I noticed the richness and depth of flavor it gave after adding it in last.

You nailed it. The ricer is the magic in all mashed potato dishes. This looked a little too thin in the instant pot. Nicer thickness at the tasting. I don't put cream cheese or any type of cheese in my mashed potatoes. Too each their own I guess.

Amiga no worries make them in the stovetop and use a colander, using the back of a spoon push them through 😊
