You may have what is called dip flu..I get it every time I dip..I put Cotton balls or Kleenex up my nose and wear a mask..we’re wearing them now anyway..also I change my clothes and take a shower..after I do my nails..

I have a huge crack in my thumb too! I applied clear dip powder just to hold it in place while the damage grows out but no idea what I'm going to do next time. It's in the middle of my nail, going to take a while to grow out, but it would be super painful to cut it prematurely. Growing out natural nails is wayyy harder than it looks!!

Do you have to follow your color dip with a clear coat dip? I ordered a few things from revel, but I didn't buy clear dip😣

You don’t have to with solid colors. But sometimes with filing and buffing it will take away the pigment and look weird. That’s only some colors tho. You do need it for glitters tho if you want a smooth surface.

I don’t really get lifting. I think it’s because I dry prep most the time and lightly buff just my new growth- then I wash with dish soap and scrub with a nail brush so there is nothing left on my nail plate at all

I did do peel base over clear and I did three because that was what I was told to do. It may have been too much since they would always pop off in a day or two, three max. If I were to use peel base again I think I would only do one full and an extra strip down the middle.

Great tips on how to get the cuticle line perfect. I love the short videos but also love the long ones. It's a great combination.
