I think it'll only adjust volume on that dac if you connect via aux. the rcs connection is usually for something that has its own volume while the aux is for like passive iems and headphones

I like your laptop setups. I use an ASUS Rog Zephyrus M16, from 2022, with the Nvidia 3060 GPU, with my Dell QHD gaming monitor. However, I may do away with this and instead setup my Macbook with this setup since I feel having a gaming laptop makes me game often and waste time... anyway, take care!
