1. when the remote vibrates, you're low on battery 2. you have to stop the board and turn it off to change the speed modes

FabTRAV you can hear the remote vibrate meaning the battery is dead or under 20% which limits speed to 50%. But also you have to turn off the remote off and back on during remote control speed mode changes, so the comparison is not accurate. but the remote vibrate just seems like its influencing an inaccurate review. That said its still an accurate opinion of the board being for beginners and would add that the doenside is the horrible bushings which can be changed out for $8 which is a significant upgrade in the ride and control of the board IMO.

It's a good board so far. Ground clearance is definitely an issue. It caught a few rocks going down the road and it cut power so it didn't over spin the motor when the drive wheel left the ground. All in all a great handling board on the flat clean trails. Even the rough road going to school it handled pretty well but the deck could be softer and more flexible.

I have this board! I'm a roller skater, I do speed skating and roller hockey but never skateboarded in my life before this. Got this board instead of a bike and I'm pretty happy. I got it as a returned product from an amazon warehouse deal for £380. Wish it was faster and not so big and heavy, but where I live I have to keep starting and stopping so can't get up to speed anyway.

Joo, ich schreibe jetzt mal Deutsch da ich keine Lust habe diesen Satz ins Englische zu übersetzen. Das Board wäre eigentlich schneller aber es ist nicht zu 100% aufgeladen was du sicher am vibrieren gemerkt hast. Ich selber habe das Yuneec E_GO Cruiser und dieses Board ist einfach nur die neuere Version von meinem. :)

@FabTRAV... sorry to disappoint, but I went boosted.... the words "if you are going to travel....." from your massive review stuck in my head... as a consultant for a tech company I do a lot of traveling... and sometimes my company forces multiple people to rent 1 car... so I'm left with no REAL mode of transport.. The evolve was in an online shopping cart at one time, but boosted came out victor since it is somewhat plane friendly Side note...I know a lot of people are hating on these reviews, but you honestly helped me choose the "right fit for me"... and these nicely priced pieces you are showing here and there are great recommendations for friends who want to ride with me, but don't want to take the plunge... so def do not stop doing these all together... its nice to hear thoughts from actual riders and again THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!!

I had the first e-go board it came with lots of issues lost conection the take off was fast and then it slows down not verry bouncy but there are other very cool aspects on that board the dissing is cool and unique seens many of the boards on the market now have some similar shape and features but the break are amazing not to touchi not to slow and its abit expensive to be a budget e board

Had to return mine after a whole hour of riding it. The dam thing broke! I heard that it can take some people 2-3 boards before they find one that is reliable. But I have had enough and bought something else. Anyway in the hour of riding I have to admit it did ride nice and is very good for beginners. If you want something to commute on and do not mind the prospect of return it several time to get a reliable one then its a great deal. If you want something that is exciting to ride and hassle free then don't buy this board.

hey Fab could you please do a review of the LongRunner when it comes out its a really cheap electric skateboard for 178~ euros it goes 15-20 kmph and around 20-28 when you add the battery pack but thats a paid accesory

u did it wrong... it was decent with 20 km/h but with 25% batterie and slow mode u cant go fast with any board.... and yeah i know that the gt is faster but its a class on its own. 400$ vs 1500+$ so yeah comparison would not be embarrassing, more like not fair at all...

In Eco-Mode acceleration and braking is delayed which is bad, Sport-Mode is the way to go

Personally I like his vids about e-boards... I bought a nice Trek bike.... BUT... my dog hates bikes, but is used to riding along my longboard.. so his reviews have been helpful in choosing... and now that I am owner of an e-board. (yes I went boosted, but I travel for work a lot.. and sometimes my work doesn't allow for a personal rental car... so I wanted something to travel with.... sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo yeah #YesIamCaseyNeistating)... but Trav Has been one of the best and seemingly least biased of EVERYONE... so he is doing a HUGE service for people like with this vid... I want to get my girl on an e-board now, but she would wreck hard on a boosted... so something like this has me thinking of gift ideas now hahaha... I dunno.. I just think he is doing a service that no one else is doing at the moment, especialy since the E-board market is not becoming flooded with options
