Yes, the Skoda Superb has just been replaced and the new one is BRILLIANT, but the old one gives you much the same space for way less money on the used market. We sent Tim to Portsmouth to review the 'old' Superb, a car that's dear to his heart as a family man. He'll show you the boot space, rear-seat space, cabin, infotainment tech and take it for a drive. As a Superb Sportline owner for the last 4 years, I can confidently say it’s the best all round car on the market. The only car I would replace it with is a newer Superb Sportline.

I have a black sportline and have never had so many compliments before...everybody thinks it looks awesome. No chrome just black trim.

It is very practical, but I imagine so are the King's pants. No lace, frills or style, just a standard Y front.

What's the boot width and height? Wondering if our dog crate would fit?

some quick & dirty measurements: the floor (in the Mk3) has a useable space of 101cm wide by 105cm deep Max Height to tailgate opening is 81cm Rear Seat to Max Tailgate height is 42cm Floor to parcel shelf is 60cm Parcel Shelf depth is 58cm

@@martinbeacher6165 how bigs the crate then ? Ah the Rifter is square at the back whilst the Superb is slanted. That will be where the problem is if you have a Rifter specific cage. Looking at the Barjo site the Rifter cage is Base Dimensions:D37"xW44.5"xHeight 42" Whilst the Superb Cage is Base Dimensions:D44.5"xW39"xHeight 26.75" (With False Floor) Base Dimensions:D42"xW39"xHeight 32" (No False floor)

I’m on my second Superb Sportline (hatch) and cannot think of a car which does what I need it to so well. Everyone who travels in it loves it and I would say it’s one of the pound-for-pound best cars out there. I love it.
