Don’t make excuses go drive. If the car safe for the street it’s safe to AutoX. Mod the driver first. Mod the car maybe later and even then mod the boring stuff, alignment and tires.

Fuel Surge kit for Autocrossing an Evo X should be the very first upgrade, then suspension/chassis rigidity and then power.

If you could only upgrade either the front or the rear swaybar on the Evo X, which would you upgrade?

If you could only curl weights with either the right arm or the left, which... Sorry, I couldn't help it. I personally would do both or neither. If I absolutely _had_ to, rear, to move the balance away from understeer.

@@jrcu19 Think of it this way (over-simplified): Sway bars allow you to tune the balance of roll stiffness between the front and the rear ends. Understeer is when the front end loses traction and slides before the rear end does. The end that you stiffen will tend to lose traction more readily than before you add said stiffness. The softer end has more compliance, therefore more grip and will tend to keep traction a bit longer. You'll want to stiffen the end that you want to break traction a little earlier. To shift the balance away from understeer (and to encourage oversteer), that's the rear end.

600hp autox car isn't going to make ya faster. Way to much power

@@joebrown4009 600hp to 500hp is a great number to have when doing autox. since when you go into the corner you'll have the pull and torque to go right back to speed. When driving with a lower HP and torque you'll have a lot more harder time going into boost out of corners and going as fast as possible. With out losing control.

@@ELIDOTORG that all really depends on the course. Low hp cars can do just as good with the right suspension and tires. It's not always about power. I've been doing it long enough to know what's going on. Being in the 600hp for half a sec before you have to let off won't matter the much. Bet miatas could take on that car
