American psycho is one of the greatest movies of all time and my favourite. It explains the modern world so well. Everyone expects that you are good in school, that you have a 9 to 5 job in an office skyscraper, that you are financely stable etc. even though all of us are diffrent inside. Someone is a pshycopath like Bateman, someone is too energetic, someone is depressed and much more examples. This movie is and forever will be amazing becouse its one of a handfull movies that such a large audience, in this case men, can agree with and sympatize with. Probably every single man out there including me is sometimes diffrent inside and is hiding something. American Psycho is just so great!

Now you see, Maruex's latest hit "Perfect girl" is a classic for modern times. Love how he sings portrays of a strange girl and almost obsessing over her but it has this eerie vibe that you can't help but continue on and listen to it immensely, no wonder it's a classic. I do prefer his bootleg version of Doja cat's song of need to know since it captures the essence of how he works in his production. Would say it's admirable seeing him leave his own profession to go pursue music, almost uplifting wouldn't you say? Now look at camera and don't mind my raincoat :)

*Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite.*

In the book, he doesn't even talk to these women about music, let alone play any while he fucks them. the book basically describes in great detail the sex acts he performs on them. that being said, the way the movie took the chapters from the book that were, quite literally, music review articles and wove them into the violent sex scenes was near genius.
