Quan the berry is not allspice...it is actually a pimento berry from the pimento tree. The berries are picked and usually put to dry days in the sun until they become hard. They can be used in many ways. The green berry from the pimento tree can be used to make very strong liquor. Hope you get to try it someday. Much love from Jamaica...I watch your videos everyday.
