Great review yet it’s pretty ridiculous that a guy’s gotta spend $80 or more for a specially-designed pair of jeans to fit snug yet comfortably when any girl/woman can pick up 5-6 pairs, for that price, at Walmart, that do the exact same thing these jeans can do. There’s absolutely no reason these jeans should be so expensive and so exclusive. Jeans, such as these (for men) should be mass produced and available everywhere… just like they are for women. It’s no big secret that adding a small amount of spandex to cotton will make it stretchy & adding polyester makes it softer. They’ve been doing that to women’s jeans for decades yet this Perfect Jean NYC company makes this sound like some new technological discovery in the manufacturing of jeans for men.

I had a pair of perfect jeans and I’m a big guy like 6 1 230 pounds . The slim fit was still too baggy I didn’t like them at all but the stretch made them too loose in the waist . I hope I like might better

I just ordered my first pair of The Perfect Jean after owning about 4 pairs of Mugsy. I liked Mugsy a lot BUT I haven't been able to purchase a new pair in over 18 months because they don't carry my size anymore. I used to order the 28x32 and they got rid of them. Perfect Jean not only has that size in stock but they have my TRUE size which is 29x32. Excited to try them and if they feel good and fit good these will be my new go-to solely cause of the size availability

How do either brand last? I get goles in the crotch of stretchy jeans like the newer Levi’s where the inseam meets.

@@DustinDeling-ng8rj Bc Levi scks dck. I don't know why but Levi and Lee's quality went way down hill a while back. I was going to start a men's clothing channel and had the opportunity to try alot of clothing through pandemic. All I can say is some of these companies have amazing sht.

Great video! I think the dimensions are perfect on these jeans i like the leg opening on both 6.75 and 7 inches is perfect. The 7 opening looked good on you tho

Try being 5'1" with a good stick. I have not found a pair of slim or fit jean that have the proper room. I have to buy one or two sizes up to get the proper room I need and doing so I end up looking like I'm wearing baggy jeans and a belt is standard wear. I currently have mugsy, they do not offer enough space despite their claims of being adequate for big stick guys. I've ordered a slim thick from tpj so we'll see.

they keep their shape. I've only air dried both of them. I don't wash my jeans often tbh.

Long time owner of TPG and new owner of Mugsy. In my mind these are the same companies with a near identical product. As a Chicagoian Mugsy does however get the nod being founded in Chicago.

I wish someone would do a review on which jeans offer best crotch space. All I read and hear is room for your balls but none about room for your john. I currently have mugsy and they touted good John space. I was disappointed as it was not enough for me. For me to fit comfortably without constant adjusting, I have to go up one size just. But doing so requires me to wear a belt and note defeats the purpose of wearing a fit jeans. I ordered a slim thick tpj and am waiting to see how it will fit. I just know slim would not give me the crotch room so slim thick will be a trial for for me.

I would imagine that anyone who can afford to lay down $110+ for a pair of jeans, can probably spare the extra $10-$15 it takes to get them altered by a professional seamstress.

Sorry, but I'm really weary of KZbinrs trying on a pair of stretchy jeans and going on and on about their comfort after 20 minutes of wear. Even in this video, you are frequently yanking the waists. Anyone who had worn the Perfect Jean knows that UNLESS YOU SIZE DOWN, you're going to go crazy pulling them up every minute. I don't know the Mugsy brand but if the waist has less stretch, that might be a very positive thing.

@@someguy6135 Well sure, and so might a pair of suspenders. The shapelessness develops wherever the fabric is stretched. In my experience, if you're talking more than 2 pct elastene added to cotton, you're going to end up with clown pants. When a lot of polyester is added, it's always a mess after two hours.
