Dude. Not fair to compare Naked and Famous to Nudie, without first getting the fit you prefer. You know Nudie but never wore Naked and Famous. You could have gotten a "skinnier" fit if you wanted. I think you might find that the Naked wins!

Good review and you've got a nice voice to listen to :) Still think that giving a 9/10 for something that isn't selvedge + has strange loose thread is too kind! I also believe it's rather difficult to assess the "fit" of jeans and kinda irrelevant because it really depends on the person wearing it as well as the style he wants. For me Naked&Famous is without a doubt the best quality/price ratio in the market as well :)

I have a lot of Nudie, most dry but also several washed. One thing I loved Nudie a lot is that they repair jeans for free. I live in Sweden so this is really convenient for me. I would also want to try APC and N&F. N&F is a bit difficult to find in store here in Sweden.

Literally went to a resale shop by a transfer station in a rich community and someone had donated/thrown away a batch of Naked and Famous jeans. I got each pair for $1. spent $4 in total for 4 insanely expensive jeans. If you are the rich person who donated/threw away your jeans that had barley been used (I can tell because it's not even naturally faded yet) THANK YOU!

Super guy would be closer to lean dean. Skinny guy is a skinny Jean with a straight leg while super guy is skinny with a tapered leg.

@@MensFashionFilesdefinitely go with super guy. The easy guy is a roomy seat and thigh fit with a sharp taper from knee down; relaxed taper is probably the best generic description. The super guy, in contrast, is slim throughout. I can't fit any super guys without sizing up about 5x. 😂

I’m a woman and I got two pairs of Nudie and just didn’t like them. They are too long for me (I’m only 5’2) yet too skinny. The organic cotton one I got was one of the most uncomfortable jeans I’ve ever worn. The other one I got was a used one that was already hemmed to a 29” inseam if I remember correctly. It was bootcut so I can wear with boots to elongate my legs. That one did fit okay but I didn’t feel that the jeans were anything special so I ended up donating both when I moved. I recently got a N&F Nightshade raw selvage denim jeans (98% cotton 2% stretch) in size 27 (I normally wear size 24-25) because of their weird measurements but I absolutely adore it even though the inseam length of 33-34” is friggin ridiculous (they are just not a petite people friendly brand, particularly not for petite women). But the quality of the denim and the material, including the zipper, is out of this world. So much more impressive to me than nudie jeans. And honestly out of the three jeans you’ve shown here I find that the N&F jeans fits you the best. The nudie jeans made your figure a bit too…feminine (for a lack of better word, they made you look too curvy). The N&F jeans looked to me like how jeans are supposed to fit men, which is a more relaxed, straight up and down figurine look. And also the thickness of the N&F made those jeans just stand out in quality they even look like they shone. But still, I think at least for women they really need to get better fits especially for women who are not over 5’6 (I think a 33 inseam would be too long even then). Just looking at their measurements on their women jeans basically my size is 24-27 which is a HUGE (FOUR sizes!!) variation I’ve pretty much never experienced before on any other brands.

Btw those APC jeans are so way overpriced, and I’m really not a fan of this obviously “blue” uniform color. To me “blue” jeans ought to always be washed (so uneven freckling color). Those APC jeans just looks cheap to me in that color. Uniform/raw indigo jeans should be dark dark indigo like black blue or gray blue (N&F even has green black and crimson indigo color which are also very nice). The N&F night shade pair I got (which I was happy with the color) was a still a bit too “blue” for me, I would’ve preferred that it was a bit darker in color. I got spoiled off of their jeans so kind of wish for the crimson sky pair now but then I probably would end up selling the nightshade.

N&F is a great brand indeed. I do prefer a slim fit but I do rock straight fits occasionally. APC is seems like they charge so high because its a luxury brand rather than for its quality.

@@k.leedolam4628 hi there, thanks for the message. I can only buy their high skinnies. The other styles won’t fit me they’d be way too big. The Nightshade 27 high skinny fits like a “tapered straight” on me. The waist is a tiny bit loose (my waist is 26”) but hip fits just right. I did also try to shrink it a bit by washing and then machine tumble drying but honestly the jeans didn’t seem to shrink very much, like maybe at most half an inch. I also got their crimson red, cobra black, and recycle selvage, in sizes 25, 26, and 24, respectively (I know it’s insane right? 🙄). I had all three hemmed when I ordered on their website since they offer free hemming service. They all fit well but all fit a bit more on the “tapered straight” side. I think the crimson red fits most like a skinny but that’s also because the color is very dark almost black which makes your legs look slimmer. All of them after washing very little to no shrinkage, and also I didn’t really see much of any color bleeding either (I wash them on gentle cycle cold turned inside out). Basically, you can go with their measurements. In my case since I’m slim not curvy I go by the waist, so whichever size that has a 26” waist. That’s how I chose the sizes. My only complaint is they really should use button fly for the high skinnies instead of zip fly. If so I would’ve purchased a size down on most of them because with button fly you can unbutton the top button so your waist will be more comfortable but hip and leg better fitted. Oh well, like I said, they are not really a women friendly (especially for petite women) brand. Most of their models don’t have women fits. I hope this helps you!! Cheers

Dope video. I.'ve had lots of Raw denim, Naked and Famous, Nudies, Unbranded, Gustin. This helped a lot because there are no denim stores around me so I have to buy online. I'm looking at APC or trying a different cut of Naked and Famous, maybe Easy guy. So far I've found Naked's to be the best bang for buck, I like all the creativity they bring to Raw denim.

Value and quality results are incongruous. Jean's should never contain elastic! APC standards have reduced since late 90s. Nudie has odd back pockets, and the nudie mark, which I hate, never liked. Also too slim and you ll affect circulation,not worth it. Raw selvedge still washes best. And standard classic, fit,rocks. I'm 178cm, 74kg, with a muscular, toned body, and with decent calves, another reason to stay away from tapered jeans.

Hi, fantastic video production and I really like your measurements and disclosure of your height/weight. I think this separates you from many other style KZbinrs who often just say "oh this fits slim" or "this fits baggy". Can I ask why you don't disclose the waist measurement as it is usually different from vanity tag size of the brand (eg: naked and famous denim waist is often 2-3 inches bigger than the tag size)?

Thanks brother! I try to give as much detail as possible so people are confident when they order things online. My waist is 29.5" so I usually go for size 30 for my straight fit jeans. I usually size up for slim jeans because it's too tight on my thighs. But I'm pretty I got the wrong size for naked and famous denim. If I went true to size, it probably fit me a lot better.

My waist is 29.5" so I usually go with a size 30 for straight fits. For slim fits, I size up to a size 31 or 32 to get more room in my thighs. But you're right, If I had gone true to size with a size 30 for naked and famous, I think it would've fit me a lot better.

I don’t mean to hate, but there’s a lot of issues here…. You should work off of measurement charts and compare like products instead of going by “slim fit”. As many other comments stated on here, weird guy is not slim fit, super guy is. Even so, “fit” is so subjective, and if you didn’t choose a fit that worked for you, that’s more on you for not doing your research because multiple fits are available for each brand, and measurements are listed online. You also gave higher scores for the brand that you’re most familiar with and have been wearing for a while, (of course you know your size, and it has stretch too) ordered a size up in a brand that you didn’t know, (and gave them a six for it) and discounted scores for a long inseam, which shouldn’t be relevant. Lastly, you’re not actually comparing like products; you’re comparing stretch denim to pure cotton, selvedge to non selvedge, and probably different fabric weights. If you wanted to redo this video (and you should), you should do your research using measurements, get your correct size in each product, and compare actual like products made of the same materials (no stretch vs non stretch), selvedge, same fabric weight. Like I said, not trying to be mean, but this video didn’t really make any sense to me and I figured you would want to hear it.

Give the N&F pants the points back for fit. You bought the wrong cut so no foul. That'd be like me buying skinny jeans and saying they suck. That's me screwing up. I've tried Naked and Famous Super Guy cuts recently and found that these "skinny cuts" are much more a slim/straight cut to my liking. The thighs were 12" yet the leg was around a 6.5-7" opening. Definitely not as slim as a pair of Nudies...
