I see a lot of brown belts struggle with this concept. The concept of allowing a little space to attack once you pass. They just stay so tight and focus so much on control that they have trouble finishing sometimes and get frustrated. It's the mouse and the cheese concept. Mouse takes the cheese, you take the mouse. It takes along time to develop a game like that. You have to anticipate reactions on a different level.

@@pabloamericano4930 let me just start by reminding you of the fact that Roger completely wrecked Marcelo in 2006 when Marcelo was in his prime. Then we have the long list of achievements Roger has in gi, no-gi and mma. Marcelo is great, but not nearly as accomplished as Roger. Even Gordon Ryan says Roger is the goat.

@@pabloamericano4930 Let me just remind you that Roger beat Marcelo in 2004 and 2006. Furthermore, he is a more accomplished figher in Gi, Nogi and MMA. Marcelo is great, but he doesn't hold a candle to Roger and his overal accomplishments; he'd probably tell you the same. Which is why even Gordon Ryan - who is considered the GOAT by many - says that Roger is the only true GOAT. Also, what's up with calling athletes names? Do you know Roger PERSONALLY?
