I love that you break down the costs. I hope non-bag makers understand that a cost breakdown also assumes that you take into account all the hidden costs, your tools, your expertise, your time. I know those of us who make bags understand that even if it costs $26 worth of materials, that's not the true cost of the bag.
@LuvLolaLooks2 жыл бұрын
Hi Teresa! Thanks for watching! Yes, that cost breakdown is definitely for us bagmakers. Just a little foundation to give an idea of material cost to perhaps help determine what we actually sell it for (which is when we take into consideration all you mentioned; the hidden costs) 😉

I also love that you include cost breakdown. I live in Canada, so, depending on where I sourced the materials I have to add exchange, shipping and duties to that cost. I also use leather rather than vinyl so cost goes up. I choose not to use vinyl because it's unsustainable and not eco-friendly. Adding the hidden costs results in an almost unaffordable bag! In all honesty, I just enjoy making bags so I'm happy if I get back the cost to make the bag plus a little profit. Enjoying your content!

Hi! Canada? Nice! I definitely get shipping. I get my hardware from there & I pay about $26 every time I order. Thanks for stopping by my channel. Happy sewing!

lol I strongly believe you can never go wrong with a outfit or purse if you include a little bit of animal print. Thank you for watching. Yes, I try to think of what would help me when I watch other videos, and I felt having some instructions is writing is easier because you can just pause it and have all the info there... But anywho, thank you for stopping by! Don't forget to like and subscribe.

Super cute video! I’m not really a backpack person and I’m new to handbag making but this little gem is giving me an edge to maybe try it! I love the detail explanation and how you manage the little bloopers and give remedy on how to fix and avoid. You are absolutely adorable and I’m glad I found you!💯🎯🔥💕👜🧵

Nancy, welcome to my channel, and thank you so much for stopping by! Totally unrelated to this bag, but was wondering what type of chair you use at your cylinder arm machine. I just got one & need a good chair. It’s much taller than my flatbed 1541.
