I just found your channel and subscribed! Wow girl, you are immensely talented! I’m looking forward to watching more of your videos. I am only a hobby artist with little to no talent…I just enjoy art supplies, playing with them and learning about the artsy world. I have several of the Jane Davenport products. I’ve found she kind of has products designed to fall under two lines….the Mermaid items, which are very vibrant and loads of fun to play with, and the Faces line, which includes more muted colors designed a bit more for “make-up” style work. She is a fun artist and has posted several video tutorials on KZbin. She has the most beautiful smile and is always happy happy in her videos! So glad I ran across your channel! TFS and God bless!

Aww thank you so much! The most important thing is to have fun with your artsy/craftsy projects, otherwise there would be no point in doing it so dont worry about feeling like a beginner, you will learn so much on your creative journey and will be better and better at it the more you do it! We all started out somewhere as a beginner afterall 🙂 i like her products i have been able to try so far, her products are harder to get in the Netherlands but who knows i might find some of her products in the future and try those aswell :) thank you again for your kind comment and have a merry Christmas/yule weekend :)

Hi! I've never heard of this brand before...the pastel set looks super fancy! I love the combination, my favorite plush is also a shark!

I stumbled apon them in a Dutch small art business, never heard of them before either nor about the artist who created this product line, but they seemed like fun items to try :) aww I don't have a shark plush sadly, I wish I could get one of these for my cat tho haha

@@JenWFineArts if you can go to ikea next look out for sharks.. or you could try a new craft and make one yourself! Not sure your cat will enjoy his "mermaid" tail though 🤔

Haha thanks he is one mischievous cute fluf boy and a real handful sometimes 😂 and they are! They got quite a lot of sparkle in them :)

That would be tricky as metallics and glitters are so reflective and usually lack dark tones so it's hard to get contrast with those alone, but it could be interesting for an art challenge video haha

Aww your to kind you really made my day thank you! Once I am done with my current commission I will be open to accept new sculpture commissions (I hope to have my current one done around Juli) I usually create a post on other social media platforms when I am ready to take on new commissions :)

I've bought the Jane davenport chalks and gel sticks and didn't like either. I found the chalks had very little colour actually on the paper and rubbed off easily, the gel sticks were not great either, quite dry. I think her stuff is poor quality and way over priced. I'm in the uk and her products are massively over priced compared to a lot of other far cheaper and better quality ones

Ive seen the chalks but wasn't convinced those would be of high quality so i did not get those, pan pastels are the best you can get in that field i think. The things i did buy such as the travel brush and the watercolor brush markers we're quite nice so i don't think all her products are bad, but i do agree they are quite pricy.
