I just KNOW that there are always multiple songs that I'm going to like even more than the title track. . Knetizens weren't joking when they voted Red Velvet as the group with the overall best discography in Kpop. Every single one of their albums is worth having.

Throughout the years, Red Velvet have collected fans such as several top charting K-hiphop, K-indie and K-rnb artists. Zion.T, Crush, Bibi, Paul Kim, Changmo, Din Din, Hoody, BeWhy, Giriboy, Coogie, just to name a few. As someone who actively avoided anything Kpop (that was when I was a massive snub, now I listen to Shinee as well) seeing RV's name popup time and again in collabs, interviews, tv guestings of some of my favorite k-artists, I thought maybe I needed to give them a listen. The Perfect Velvet (the full album, TPRV is the repackage) is pretty much in every top 10 Kpop album ranking in recent years. I'm not sure if it's still ranking after the barrage of releases after BTS hit big but since it was my introduction to RV and Kpop as a whole so it holds a pretty sturdy place in my chest. I'm telling you, if the hype from this album didn't hold water, I would've dropped them pretty quickly. And that was in 2017. The Perfect Velvet isn't even in my top 3 RV albums anymore.

The ReVe Festival is a three-part festival but all the songs from the first two parts are included in The Finale because it’s a repackage. Only 4 songs were added. So I suggest just listening to The Finale (because all the songs from the first two festival albums are already there with the 4 new songs) so it won’t be a burden on you anymore to just react to each part.

The Red album is actually still my favourite for RV as a whole. I love TPRV album but the sounds in The Red are some of my favourite. Which is surprising because I tend to like their Velvet songs better lol. RV is amazing that way, you really won’t know what will draw you in, it’s always a surprise 😍
