Hi Guys, I am new to da Vinci Resolve. While Editing a clip I am not able to stop the timer under the toolbar in the fusion page it just keeps going on forever and my clip is going out of the timecode. I am just not able to understand it.. please help, can't see any help on KZbin. I am not talking about the frame code indicator which is To the left . I am just not able to stop the timer code to the right under the toolbar. Anybody please help. Thank you

Good video, Thanks. Billy, I just started in Resolve and one thing that really bothers me is if you have two clips back to back why can't you just drag a cross dissolvr over the middle of it and be done? They make you cut the clip at both ends to drop in a cross dissolve, that makes no sense. What if the parts you need are at the end of the clip or at the beginning of the second clip?

Hello Billy! Happy New Year to you :-) I hope you are well. I just bought the pack and the call out title too. My present for me. But I am a bit sad cause if I use these transition, My Davinci will shut down all the time when I rendre my movie... I guess these transition are to heavy. Is there a trick? My laptop is powerful enough. An Asus Stix Scar 17, Intel Core I9 10TH, Nvidia RTX 2080 suoer 8GO and 32 GO Ram and SSD 2TO. I render with automatic (Rendu in french). I don't know if I can do something for making these transition easier to render..... withot is OK. I am also in 30 FPS 4k with my drone movie. Thanks for your ideas :-)

I ordered the Starter Kit and some of the files don't have .drfx files. It just comes with bluescreens or whatever.

Hello. Is it really worth and good quality? It is a bit expensive but there is not so many effects included in the basic DaVinci studio. I wonder if it will be my gift ☺️

Work to build your nodes, it is free and pays off in the long run. That being said if you have money to waste or your time is extreamly expensive, buying packs is an option. (you said expensive thought so I guess you shouldn't go for it).

Hey, yes, we make our assets high quality and easy to use. Our goal is to speed up the editing process wherever we can. Crafting transitions that look good can take a lot of time, so we made a bunch of high-quality presets so people can spend more time on the actual edit. What onederling said, building your own is always an option, its an investment in your knowledge. However, if you don't want to be bothered with the process of creating and coding the transition files (we need to code to create the menu's and submenus) then snag the seamless transitions, regardless you are investing in yourself. If you get the transitions you invest in your efficiency, quality, and workflow If you make them, then you invest in your knowledge. There isnt a ton of resources on how to create presets like this, so it will require a lot of digging and asking questions. Feel free to send me a message if you need help with that :)

I agree, investing in your knowledge is always a great option. But also investing in a product in order to save time is also a great option. It really depends on what a person is wanting to do. Either way when I look at purchasing anything, not just packs, I view it as an investment. Its solving a problem, enabling faster results, or expanding my knowledge. The only time a purchase is a waste is if it completely sucks. If thats the case I just get a refund lol. Thanks for your support man! I eally appreciate you!

The transitions are great, the problem is that many of them won't render. My rendering process just stops completely at some of them. Is there a workaround?

I figured out, that I can use smart render cache, to see which transitions will not render and replace them with others. Sadly, it is kind of random if a transition will work.

Hey, they are all working i assure you. Please render them in place, this will allow your system to process all the info.

@@BillyRybka It took me two days to figure out. In the end, I had to render the complete video (100 min.) in 3 parts and then render those again as one complete new video. Now it worked, and I have a new video with awesome transitions. Sorry for bothering you. In case someone cares, here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 7 3700x AMD Radeon 5700xt 16 GB RAM Windows 10 Davinci Resolve Studio Version

@@BillyRybka Now I get it. The rendering in place woks like a charm, but is tedious when you have like 50 transitions in a Movie. The problem resolved itself now, since I started to put my 60fps records on a 24fps timeline. Now everything works fine. Thank you again and it is great that you are back.
