1 Casio to rule them all. And it needs to beaten. I use it for chores and cause it's sexy.

So tired of hearing about Tissot PRX. IMO it doesn’t have staying power.

Love your content, Jody. You mentioned many times that solar watches never need a battery change. This just isn’t true. I blame Citizen for putting it in their marketing (if I’m remembering correctly), as much as I adore my Eco Drives. I’ve had to replace three rechargeable batts in my older Citizens after about a decade or so. Just food for thought, I guess. Not trying to be a whatever😄

I spent most of the video, looking at the t shirt, trying to remember what it says. I don't know how many times I've watched Jody, explain it, but I can never remember.

Affordable Citizen > Affordable Seiko imo. I bought my wife a Tsuyosa for under $300 USD and it truly is awesome for the price. Feels better than Seiko Presage models I have owned. Surprised Citizen didn't make the cut here

So - you're including your own watches by not including them 🤔😋👌!?

For those complaining about the lack of Citizen options...why not share a few examples here in the comments rather than slate a guy just doing his best to make a list of watches that some of us may have not considered.... just a thought...

Quartz detractor here. Its not that I don't know that they're accurate and probably even more reliable than a mechanical, I just dont care. I see watches as pieces of art, jewelry, and it not having a battery is far more intresting to me. Its the only reason I wear a watch. I just dont want my jewelry having circuitry. Now, if it generated its own power like the Spring Drive does then that's a different story; those things are awesome. I have enough battery shenanigans around me. If i want accuracy I'll look at my phone. No watch can compete with that since before GPRS was a thing. If I needed a watch for work maybe I'd consider quartz then. With that being said, I do agree that it is nice to have a quartz watch ready to go sometimes when in a rush but then it'd have to use a perpetual calendar or be a digital watch with that capability. Sometimes I take out my quartz watch when rushing and the date is wrong so its not just ready to go.

You should make a video with watches under $500, but the EU version. You would get very different results 😆

The new San Martin should be there if the Erebus is. Sorry, just saying. Possibly spend a little more than £500 would be a good move. And don’t forget the difference between the watches that are not discountable v the ones that are 😉
@robedmunds7163Күн бұрын
The 50m WR of the Khaki is not a minor consideration. It is rubbish and stops me even considering it.. Have Lorus Lumibright full dial with 100m WR, seems a better bet for camping and swimming, you know, a field watch😂
