by far my favorite food channel. Your plating skills are legit the best I have seen from any channel. Would you be able to do a dessert from the different beet kinds on a video by chance? If so it would be much appreciated.

Great recipe! Any suggestions on where to source ingredients like magnolia flowers and wild garlic flowers, even morels. I haven't seen that for sale at our local markets or anything but I would love to source them to make this dish

Did the hole thing, even making filo dough from scratch,…using green asparagus, as I can’t get fresh white ones here… taste was amazing. Weird to freeze the eggs though, but it worked.. wish I could send a picture of my result based on an amazing KZbin. Thanks. Also no asters in USA😢.

That's a very interesting combination, I loved the idea of a magnolia beurre blanc! You're also getting close to 100k, that's a big milestone. As for my suggestion I'll stick to the usual: a dish with portions more fit for à la carte menu than for a tasting menu. Anything else is up to you, I think we all trust your skills ;)

Hi Jules, great video as always. Just curious though about the purpose of the towel @1:26 How is this technique beneficial vs. putting a lid on top? Is it helping to steam the vegetables? Thanks.

Towel helps steam the asparagus and helps them to stay moist without trapping excess water. Same technique is used for achieving the perfect crumb on tamales without having them become chewy/gluey or dense.

Jules, your dishes are superb. I’ve been working in fine dining restaurants for a while and I must say that your food is top notch quality. Also I want to say that I love morels and asparagus. Now they are in season and where I work we do a delicious risotto with asparagus, two versions, one with white asparagus and one with the green ones. I would love to see your version of a risotto (with any ingredients of your choice)
