The store manager and the district managers are absolute psychopaths over zoning the aisles. They screwed over cap2 very hard and expect an understaffed crew to zone too much. We can just barely get everything zoned every night and they still dump on us like we are useless and expendable. We are older workers working with injuries and pain every night and they think we can somehow move faster than what we are on a moment's notice. The leads are extremely afraid of the store manager and won't do anything to defend our crew and management still refuses to take a hint why we rush as fast we can zoning one item forward and move on. We don't have enough time because we are understaffed.

@@trevonmitchell661 Speed will come with time when you learn where everything goes. Eventually shortcuts will become practically second nature for you. Something else that will help tremendously is if your manager will allow you to order your own aisle, do so! This will fill your aisle up and over time your trucks will get smaller and smaller. I work with people who stock and always wonder why they can’t get X or Y accomplished (for instance turn their backstock every night), but they don’t order their aisle ever. Order an 8 to a 12 foot section at a time. I hope this feedback is helpful… I know it’s not much. When it comes to stocking there are no “golden secrets” per se. The best kept secret is-a will to get the truck done and thrown up fast. If you see you have a big truck and think to yourself, “that’s too much for me to get done”, then you undercut your own ability to even get it done and defeat yourself before you even start.

All the aisles I've zoned are a disaster. The products don't match up with the price cause they be putting more products then there is space. People be messing up the items. Shit, I just look AND WALK ON BY until a manager calls. Then I TAKE THE WHOLE FUCKING SHIFT to zone. They ain't paying me more to work faster.

@@chvIry Bro fuck that place 😭 I worked there for almost a year in 2021 While covid was still at a high risk , I got covid and they still wanted me to come to work, I came to work while sick and my store managers made me lie for our covid check in and lied about my temperature. I end up getting the whole cap 2 team sick. I told them that it was wrong for them to risk all their employees just because they “needed” me at work. Weeks later after I felt better. They made me work the whole entire day and on my last break they pulled me into the office and handed me my last check. They claimed that I skipped too many days despite being sick with covid. They never paid me my covid pay either.

Yeah majority of us don't have that kind of time to perfect zone. Zoning takes the most time. It could take 2+ hours depending on how bad the aisle Im assigned to is when I arrive to work from 10pm-7am

Our store is so fucking busy i could never have the time to do any of this. Maybe if I worked night shift I could do that easily. I work 2pm to 11pm and stock after we finish unloading. I keep it neat but some people just fit it all on the shelf even if its not in their spot. Very annoying.

There’s this lady that does price changes at my store who thinks shes a lead. She a wannabe manager/micromanager. She picks on me cuz I zone my area perfect and don’t “Willy zone”. I work ogp but that departments overstaffed so they just put me to top stock and zone all day. She says I detail zone and organize top stock too much even though they don’t give me any other task to do. She actually wants me to “Willy zone” to cover more ground but everyone got their section they hold down. I ain’t gonna listen to her cuz my work falls back on me. If imma spend all day doing something i might as well do it right. Some people just want you to hate your job. If they see you actually like something your supposed hate they switch your whole process/routine just to get you to hate what you do. Cuz if you don’t hate your job you must not be working right. The type of people who think managing is parenting/babysitting your employees Irks me. Immature employees ok but I may look young but I’m 31 and when I tell them that they get all shocked. Ive been working since the age of 15 I know how to get things done. I’m no rookie.
