It think that the weavers trance suspendburst damages enemies and if the burst kills something it will count as a grenade kill. Weavers trance also works with veritys brow because it buffs the suspend burst dmg

Every kill reset the X2 timer, i think they'll patch it like they did with the weird interaction with the exotic melee perk. To me these are loopholes in the code generated with introduction of strand in the game, it's not possible for Bungie to test every possible scenario

I don't know if you tried this Coolguy, but if you put on Verity's Brow with this setup the explosions can get insanely damaging further triggering Tricorn x2. It's nuts.

I think the only thing I dislike about the verity brow and golden tricorn, is it can only proc when something dies from the tangle lift damage. Compared to the adrenaline junkie on rufus's fury's adrenaline junkie which can proc just by killing a target with weaver's trance. Plus rufus's fury has demolitionist.

Honestly I've loved Zen Moment + Target Lock for PvP. I know it isn't a meta pick and any competent close range player will stay out of lanes and shred me when they close the distance, but it has shocked me with its range capabilities. Zen Moment makes the gun stick on targets far outside intended range because the recoil control keeps the aim assist cone on point, and Target Lock makes up for the damage fall off by keeping the TTK optimal even after range fall off. I can't explain it, but it just feels great to me.

I actually went flawless in trials with the exact roll in the OG comment one weekend. This gun has become my go to pvp weapon currently. However, i do agree with CoolGuy on the weaknesses of perpetualis. I felt those AFTER said flawless weekend big time in crucible.

I think Cascade Point is the big selling point on this gun as a PVP gun, tbh. Just straight up makes it fire 40% faster, shifting the TTK from 0.8s to 0.48s for the brief window it's up. Even the body shot TTK with the perk up is 0.78s. Kind of a shame that the timing is really strict, though (5 seconds to activate, 2.75 seconds of the buff if enhanced). On the other hand, that means the gun in your other slot has to be one you're more comfortable with relying on, because unlike, say, many Harmony guns, this one is going to leave you at a disadvantage no matter how you roll it right now. Honestly, Cascade Point is such a strong perk (on paper), it's no wonder they didn't give it to any guns that stand on their own two feet particularly well in PVP. Imagine a trace rifle with that, or any half-decent hand cannon.

Now that we are further in the future from when this video went up, I just want to point out that Banner of War on Berserker Titan should be fantastic for activating Noble Deeds, and the melee focus should make it easy to keep GT at x2 for Perpetualis And any version of a Berserker should appreciate having a Demolitionist primary like Rufus. A BoW-serker could even grapple punch his way too Adrenaline Junkie x5 for a larger damage boost than Para Afinity, then get that energy straight back between Demo and Thread of Gen.

I've been using Zen Moment + Demolishionist for a Warlock Threadling spam build. Eating my grenade and then using my rift spawns 8 Threadlings, and with the Swarmers exotic, when they damage someone they're afflicted with the Unraveled effect, so when they die it spawns a tangle, and shooting the tangle creates 2 more Threadlings. I just run Ticcu's for range because people like grouping up, and Ticcu's can two tap a group of people. It's more of a meme build because Threadlings can be dodged by literally just straffing, but when people see 8 Threadlings funning at them, and another 3 on the way with the grenade, they tend to panic. And the Threadlings act as a distraction so I can peek and shoot whoever's focusing on my Threadling army, or if they try to shoot me I'll at least trade kills because they're being eaten alive by my swarm of Threadlings. It's pretty entertaining, win or lose

600 autos should be doing 23 head/16 body imo. that and some well-deserved nerfs to SMGs, le monarque, and 340 pulses, and autos across the board will be in a good spot. without the 600 auto buff, only 600 autos won't be in a good spot after the nerfs. edit: 600 autos are, for no reason, both less flexible AND less forgiving than 540 pulses and 600 smgs. I don't get why they can't land that extra bodyshot here, so the base stat advantage is actually an argument worth making.

@@tenacity25 i will take it's step further and ask, do we really need all these weapons archetypes? Sometimes i feel the weapon landscape is complex just for the sake of it. Half of the weapons are not used anyway, they need to periodically buffs an archetype just to make it shine for two months at the expense of another and risking to make it oppressive. (See recent rapid fusion) I agree, too much competition in certain ranges and i would argue that most of the times some weapons don't get the attention they deserve because of that, not because they are bad per se (see precision sidearm) range in smgs should be nerfed to the ground.

I'm personally curious about a fully crafted Perpetualis with a Actium War Rig on Titan with the Perpetualis built for something like Chambered Compensator/Extended Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Enhanced Hip-fire Grip, Enhanced Target Lock, a range masterwork, and the Freehand Grip mod. When you add in 2 to 3 targeting mods, you should have around 98 to 100 aim assist while hip-firing. Might get dunked on by immortals in Crucible since it's playing at around 20-ish meters max to utilize the hipfiring, but... seems interesting to me at least!

I like 450rpm autos and I get a lot of mixed feedback from some of my friends because I run a ammit ar2 in comp with my friends with small bore, ricochet rounds, dynamic sway reduction, tap the trigger, and a range MW. I tell them it’s a beast and literally laser beams with zero recoil issues. I also have a Rufus with perpetual motion and target lock which feels nice but sometimes I feel vs the imortal the Rufus just falls short

The problem with auto rifles in general is that the range envelope is a bit too close to smgs. High impacts and Precisions can get away with it because some of which have scopes or just generally high range to allow you to compensate elsewhere. 600s used to be the only good option as 450s and 360s lacked, and 720s were basically chunky smgs. Over time things have changed, so they're a shadow of themselves when Gnawing Hunger was a strong option (even when 150s were around). Even if the envelope went up 2-3 meters, it would be immense for the archetype as a whole.

I believe perpetualis was the first weapon of the season I crafted, really did enjoy the KW/GT roll that I landed on the first time. My crafted roll has been swapped around quite a bit. PvP wise- I couldn't get it going, even with something quirky like cascade point. 600s I've advocated for awhile need either 1 or 2 more points of headshot damage, or be more forgiving in body shots in order to compete now against the likes of immortal and other weapons in the space

More or less how I built mine, though I personally went Keep Away because it gives that neutral +30 Reload Speed most of the time while also giving some extra Range when you would want it anyway, and I feel like with an Auto Rifle you're usually not getting right into that close 15m range for it to be an issue since you want a little bit of distance to track to the crit spot better.

I crafted a Come to Pass with genesis and golden tricorn. It's a great feeling auto rifle in pvp. I haven't brought many autos into pve yet, admittedly.

Cascade point brings the body shot. TTK to .8 and headshot to .5 at 30m. If you mix that with a cascade point, SMG, it’s actually an insane loadout. A Precision 600 SMG turns into a point .47 kill or .7 body. Do you have five seconds to switch to your other weapon where you have three seconds of 40% fire rate… I use a tap the trigger cascade 750 smg + this and on short range maps it’s op. Especially if he is a rally barricade, empowering rift or invis hunter. Cascade point is perfect pairing with a harmony on a pulse or Monarch because the tick damage counts hits. So you shoot an arrow and it says cascade ready.

How is Titan the worst of the 3? With the Abeyant Leap boots (max Resilience and Max Discipline with double bomber and a grenade kickstart mod) you can infinitely loop your suspend abilities.

There's something about this gun that I just wasn't feeling. I crafted keep away and threadling, which on paper seemed good. And it is, sort of. it's something else, the way it fires, bounces, idk. I just haven't played well with it. I will try the killing wind golden tricorn roll and see if I like it better. Thanks for the vid.
