I didn't even know I had a good roll of this just sitting in my vault until now, definitely gonna take this into crucible. I've been using the Iron Banner fusion with Offhand Backup plan which is just the best for that slow charge time, so since I loved that, I'm pretty sure imma love this.

I like this for totally different reasons tbh. It's a solar special weapon with ability generation perks. I can use it with my sunbracers with grave robber, pugilist, and heat rises, and one kill give about 70% melee energy back if I need it, and because it's solar, it extends radiant and restoration on it's own. It just fits perfectly into my build when nothing else does atm, and I very much enjoy it

I went with Killing Wind. You can hit people from so frickin far when hip firing after a kill. And yeah, Rain of Fire is exactly how I am using it. Love this thing.

Killing wind is probably the better play if you’re trying to map, but for cqc that thing will be fast and sticky with successful+offhand

successful is awkward to me. i have 600 kills w this thing in crucible and the charge time is too fast to cancel it and too quick to be able to aim well. KW is a no brainer once you play with it for a while

I'm so glad someone finally decided to bring up the god tier effectiveness this fusion can get with Enhanced Off-hand Strike and Enhanced Successful Warm-Up. The moment I saw this was a random roll at the beginning of the season, I was like, "Wait a minute, something that isn't my usual Backup Plan and Under Pressure rolls?! AND IT'S GREAT?!" I had to go and craft it. Working on my Kill Tracker on it, might even bring it into Trials this weekend. I'll let y'all know if I go Flawless with it. 😅😂

Love this fusion. Definitely Offhand and KW for me. I went arrowhead and freehand grip mod myself. Might try some other configurations of barrel and mod. Offhand is definitely the way to go. So much fun.

Crafting enhanced envious assassin makes this even better; rather than on multikill, it's just on kill...making it even easier to overload your entire reserves into it, even on higher difficulties

Since I always run during nezarac I love using this with lead from gold/reservoir burt combined with the new raid shotty. Slap on a solar holster mod and you can quick swap from conditional finality's final shot to proc an ignition -> swap to heavy auto loading rocket -> swap to Royal executioner and rinse and repeat. The solar holster mod makes it so sweet to be able to chain ignition shots and reservoir burst during dps phases.

I'm running the offhand strike and successful warm up Royal Executioner in pvp and it's a blast. I'm using it with the Rain of Fire warlock exotic so that my 2nd shot 5 bolts with the radiant buff. I've paired that with a Harmony round robin so it can two tap if I have harmony and radiant up. Icarus Dash takes away the annoyingly long reload of the round robin. A Linear Fusion heavy lets me conserve heavy ammo by switching back and forth between a heavy kill and a two tapping Round Robin. I use the Queenbreaker because it's really easy to clean up when everyone is blinded.

Let's be honest... "offhand strike" is literally the most slept on perk in the game. If you disagree.... you obviously haven't used it. First time I actually (truly) tried it on my Autumn Wind... I just havent stopped using it lol... its S tier to me.

CoolGuy; noticed in the clip at 4:38 you're switching back to reload Gally. If you put on sloar auto loader on your boots; every 2 seconds it will load a rocket into the launcher so you can just lay on the trigger with you're envious boosted fusion rifle until Gally's full.

They do not work on rockets or special grenade launchers. Bungie stated this when they were introduced that single shot weapon types would not be affected by the holster mods

For anyone using envious assassin on console, make sure to custom map the "switch to energy weapon" command (mine is double triangle on PS5). Because if you build stacks on a heavy, you will "blow your load" if you switch to your primary instead, and you will be sad calus face as well

One of my new favorite weapons, and I've settled on offhand kw, but not because of kw extra range, thats nice, its the free mobility strafe up letting me just beam someone from the hip while they struggle to catch up with me its insane, the handling bump feels great too, solar holster is very handy now with its fast reload so its nice to run it, once I know I cant get more kills or I'm out of ammo its a stow and reload until the next time it shows up

As a Rain of Fire main on Warlock, this was my big chase for the season. Got it crafted with the Trials memento and the aesthetics are just... chef's kiss. Love the reticle too. For those you will use this only in PvE and are sure you will use it a lot, enchanting envious assassin removes that ten second window, which allows you additional freedom in when you use it. No point enchanting reservoir burst unless you like the +5 to stability

Should definitely be a feature, especially since the weapons keep levelling up past the point where you can place all the enchanced perks. Be nice not to have to level up two weapons when there are great PVE and PVP options.

As a below-average player, I'm torn between Reservoir Burst and Incandescent - I haven't done much with weapon surges since I'm worried about keeping the buff up consistently and I prefer to lean into ability-recharging mods. Incandescent is always on and synergizes with my solar builds (low floor), but I see the ceiling potential of Reservoir Burst. Also, as someone who doesn't raid or do dungeons, an attainable (e.g. craftable) solar machine gun would be super helpful! My solar heavy weapons all seem meh, so I keep going back to my Retrofit Escapade with volatile flow

20 inventory? 18 shots with Envious Assassin? What game are you playing? My Incandescent roll has a max inventory of 17 (or 15 with backup mag). My Envious + Reservoir roll has a max inventory of 15 even without backup mag, which confuses the hell out of me (which perk is costing me 2 shots?).

Offhand Strike is pretty legit. I have a Fioritura sidearm with Hip-Fire Grip/Offhand Strike and it is an absolute laser from range's it shouldn't be competing in when Offhand Strike is active. Good stuff. But, I'm a Lime. What do I know right?
