Is because I always had this great music in my life and even though in the 80s and the 90s we had great R&B... I would still have moments where I would get into my old head bag and play these joints its funny how life becomes full circle because I can guarantee you now everybody I went to high school with loves these old tunes and appreciates them now but I'm proud to say that I was way ahead of them

Tee H - You are laboring under the fiction that the female is always the perfect saintly ones in an interaction. That is a fallacy. There are plenty of ruthless, evil, skanky, immoral, "me first" minded women out there, some are even physically beautiful to the point where you would never think them capable of such evil, yet they are. Guys game at being players and even get away with it for a time, but the females have the power of the backstab and lack of any chivalry rules taught them to uphold, no rules of decorum and fight dirty is all that matters with them, and their fellow females actually applaud and support this cowardly behavior. Respect and love is indeed the ideal, but when it goes off the rails, whoever initiated it, the deck is stacked against the male half, guilty or innocent does not matter...
@mrjtjt6 жыл бұрын
dude, you have been through some stuff! lol. But well said. Modern day women are very dangerous, many of them are. The old school women didn't think like they do now. The women today got game and will slash you before you realize what's happening. Yeah, i know. I guess they've been hurt enough. Now they are doing the hurting.
@HankWest-er8iw6 жыл бұрын
onelove - A reasoned analysis, but slightly flawed, in that these new generation (especially Black) females, have been given opportunities in education and hiring, which was part of the plan, to feel superior to the Black males, who have in turn been brainwashed with thug culture (music especially) and routed to prisons and substandard educations (diction being the "point to" excuse) and therefore made less eligible as desirable marriage materiel, hence the continuation of the destruction of Black "nuclear families" as initiated by the "Patrick Moynihan strategy". Segregation made for more stable Black families, so the reduction of public segregation merely was a tool of genocide (as we see today in the murder stats in Chicago, Maryland, etc). Like the devil's great trick of making man believe he does not exist, so getting Blacks to self-exterminate by doing the Kluxer's job for them has been a PsyOp for decades now and bearing the same "strange fruit" as the Klux went hands on in lynching murders prior the advent of these strategies...

What a voice. I'm in my late 40s and I love this kind of music. So don't remember it from being young. However, I fell in love when I started listening around 16. Great talent.... Sadly missed 💜👍🏼👋🤗

I grew up in a small west Texas town listening and watching Don Cornelius' Soul Train as much as I could on Saturdays in the '70s. Talent like this always seem to be in abundance, unlike today's over processed, compressed, and auto-tuned productions. This song was written and produced by the oh so smooth Poindexter Brothers and the Persuader's simply nailed it.
