I think one of the main things that peta doesn't understand is there are some people with a lot of different types of allergies to different types of plant-based things and a lot of those type of allergies prevent people from being vegan especially if you're allergic to soy or nuts and you become a vegetarian because of that or you're completely allergic to vegetables as a whole which is rare but it does exist but I guess peta will have their own made up studies on why that is anytime soon

They also love to act like they know everything. My aunt use to have cows and chickens along with a cousin still having his. Not all cows have children but still produce milk. And my aunt sold and my cousin still sell eggs and milk to the local grocery store. PETA does don't understand the real world and focus on the wrong things. For example they also complained and wanted Pixar to remove Bo Peep's crook because they were concerned kids were going to hurt sheep and other animals if they saw that.

When I was ten, I did my final project on animal cruelty on farms, peta was one of my main source. Despite all the graphic imagery I saw and all the horrific things I saw, I didn't turn vegan. The most I felt was terrible that the animals go through that, but my angle was that maybe don't treat the animals like shit on farms? I still wanted bacon and some beef.

Don't cows get bloated and uncomfortable if they aren't milked? I get the milk is for the babies, but I'm pretty sure they produce more milk than the baby can drink alone. Same for sheep, they get uncomfortable if they aren't shorn, they can get heat stroke or just get so heavy from the excess wool they tip over. I get the farming industry is cruel oftentimes, but wool, milk and eggs aren't inherently cruel, some farms are good
