Since I am now living in the Philippines I don't miss the winter so it doesn't matter to me but I did like when winters were not so bad when I was there. I am not sure about sending 19 year olds to the AHL for many of the reasons mentioned. I agree there would have to be something in place so not every 19 year old get sent to the AHL. I think 20 is ok as the players are more mature and more skilled to handle the next level. Nice pick on Cameron Reid he is looking very good.
