Ariadna accused her of stealing the crown, she cried during interviews. It wasn't Queen P's fault at all. I remember a lot of candidates comforted Ariadna but Pia wasn't able to celebrate her moment cause she felt bad for her and there were people who was booing her in the crowd. She also said that Pia was like a ghost cause she only saw her twice and did not think of her as a competition. Ms. Colombia acted bitter after the pageant. She said on the interview that Pia is just a ghost to her. Its not even Pias fault that she won. Miss Philippines moment has been taken away from her too. Instead of them celebrating her win, the other girls are consoling miss colombia, which is fair I guess. But they are both the victims here so she should not act bitter towards Pia (Philippines )

What’s worse is that after the show ended and the crowning, Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Philippines, was seen trying to approach crying Miss Colombia to console her but other contestants around Colombia stopped her and acted like its her fault, so she the staff had to walk her off the stage. It wasn’t until she got backstage when the staff and makup artists congratulated her that she felt that she actually won and cried. This is such a mess and Pia still receive hates for simply because of this fiasco.

I respected Steve because in one of his interviews he addresses the situation. He said that he did read the card right but the producers had it wrong, so they were going to ignore it and address it the next day, but Steve said no, he’ll go out and speak up about it. I don’t know. Honestly…..I don’t know if it was better to just do it the way they did & humiliate one young woman….while putting a dark cloud over the win of another - or if it would have been better to take them both aside after the show, explain what happened, and figure out the best way to handle it with everyone being on the same page. Either way is problematic. Either way, one young woman has her dreams stripped away, and another never has the chance to really experience her win. Both women were given their dreams, but both also experienced an enormous loss. Personally, I think they should have waited. I don’t think it should have been part of the show. And I recognize that regardless of when they did it, the outcome would be the same…..but it shouldn’t have happened that way. I know that the true winner should have been given her moment on that stage, and if they’d waited, she never would have had it. More people would have seen the show, than would have seen the follow up announcement where they corrected it. But, did she really get her winning moment onstage? They took the crown off of the head of the wrong winner, and put it on her head…she watched that girl’s heart break into a million pieces in order for her to get her moment. There just wasn’t a way for anyone to really win after that. Psychologically & emotionally, I just think this was the worst way to handle it.

Because even if they did waited, although feelings were hurt, the real winner wouldn't have been able to celebrate the same way. Im sure she didn't. Situations like this happens all the time; I wished we had the same empathy is all situations like this, but its not the case all the time. If anything this could be some sort of lesson, even a humbling one for the producers, contestants, and audience. It does hurt a lot, but Im just saying, it takes a lot of confidence for a man to speak up and out about it because even he was harshly accused and picked on. And you never know what could have happened after the show and what happened to the one who didn't actually win. Notice we only focus on her and not the real winner? Even if they waited, I'm sure there would be people who ask; "Why didn't they just leave it alone?" It would be unfair all around. Im still glad over the real winner because she's still being stripped away from the spotlight. It's a sticky situation but it's really unfair being pitiful instead of giving it to the real winner. The one I truly feel bad for because she's still not in the spotlight. So congrats to her and her composure.

If you saw how he holds the card you would see why he fucked up. He was holding the card with his right hand I think and his thumb covered the actual winner (which is miss Philippines). Since it was his first time hosting that kind of competition he didn’t know that 1st runner up was actually the second runner up. He thought first runner up was the actual winner since you know it’s 1st. His thumb covered the thing that says Miss Universe 2015 with Philippines at the bottom so he thought Miss Colombia was the miss universe. I think that was what happened I saw it on a video once explaining why he made a mistake.

Honestly, the Philippines girl had humbleness, she felt bad and she did what she worked so hard for no more then what the Columbia girl would of done❤️ they both showed that in the hug❤️ but me personally, I'd of dropped out then and there (I'd never have the guts to do this! Sad to say Colombia didn’t win. She never did, she never won. The judges knew who was the winner and they jumped from their seats in shock that Steve announced Colombia. Harvey made a very unfortunate mistake. There’s been a lot of interviews on YT from diff parties who knew the winner before it was announced.

This resulted in Miss Columbia being very upset and the whole situation was just awkward and upsetting, so Miss Philippines felt hesitant about taking the crown.

i feel terribly sad for columbia, no one deserves to be in that embarrassing situation, she is so strong and graceful to be able to withstand in that situation, she is a queen for overcoming it, BUT my heart goes for pia, it was so awkward for her to enjoy and flaunt her win. they are both victims of this accident. i can feel steve's regret and he's a real man for correcting it, otherwise it must have been just ignored to maintain the reputation of the miss universe organization. still, only ONE must be crowned tho and put the crown on the head of the one TRUE OWNER of it regardless of this mistake, and it's the one who really won and earned it through the process of the competition which is pia, from philippines.

@@rodmat276 i do not expect miss columbia to be all sweet and happy for pia after that humiliating event that happened to her, she has the right to feel anything, but it is never right to look down on someone who was also the victim, it should've been pia's moment, after 41 years of the philippines waiting, it was a mess. it was not pia's fault that she was called the real winner, she earned it. personally, i watched miss universe 2015 competition multiply times and from all the category pia showed a powerhouse fight, and that last q&a where she eloquently said if she were to be miss universe, it is the WINNING answer. all i can say is that this huge mistake was accidentally done by steve and for him to correct it knowing that many would be disappointed is the bravest thing ever, he admitted to his sin, and pia got what she rightfully deserves, as steve shown in that card that philippines was the winner. she is miss universe 2015.
