Great seeing how happy the vast majority of Filipinos are in these videos but you must have come across some dangerous situations along the way. Tom I've been to the Philippines once and most of the people there don't have much but they are so nice, friendly and always happy. They treated me so well, I felt like home. I slept on the floor with the kids but felt so secured and happy. I really enjoyed watching this video because it' shows one side of the real Philippines. Great job!

When I see this summary of the videos, I'm really happy that I chose the Philippines. I miss this friendly and crazy way in a positive sense in your videos from other countries. I don't know the real reasons why you left the Philippines but I don't think you will find such situations in Thailand or other countries.

Whenever you treat and bless the children is best part of the Philippines series. If opportunities come up in future smaller Towns try and do the same. My wife is from Davao area in mountains we married 6 yrs ago and I have found it fulfilling to buy sacks or rice and hand out 10 pound bags out to families . We bought the big tubs of ice cream from local store and treated children. As an American I have access to so much , Philippines needs our love and kindness. Kevin Louisiana, usa

My take from these vids portraying the lives of those Filipinos living in squatters' areas is that despite the rough conditions, these people usually look quite clean and well groomed. That is an amazing fact in and of itself. Also, on the Happyland segment, the Smoking Mountain landfill is quite close to there and where that documentary you referenced is located.

Tom, they are all my favorites too. The best clip for me is when you bought the kids a treat and the line formed. It could have been over 50 when you offered it to 10. That was YOU as the Pied Piper. I did something like this on a beach in the Dominican Republic for 4 kids and ended with over 30 kids and cleaned out the ice cream vendor. This memory for me is priceless as I'm sure these vids are for you. We done my son!

I really didnt have much respect for a guy that sold his soul to the queen of shallow,,but I could tell as time passed,,that you were losing interest. Then I started reading the comments,,,and among most of her followers there was a huge sense of surrealism. They worshipped her like shes a religious icon,,,all about the "stuffs" she acquired.
