Wonderful simple guide to understand two faculties: reason and intuition ( Akhal and Wijdan). The present day Muslim societies need to focus on knowledge obtained through sense perception. Their over-emphasis on outer aspects of Islam has led to their downfall in all fields, be it economic, Scientific, Technology, and Mathematics. Is it not a fact that out of 57 Muslim countries, only one country has an atom bomb; this shows that STEM have taken a back seat in 1500 years of civilization, whereas the USA, and most of G7 countries with 350 years of civilization have made strides in the real of science and technology. The need of the hour is synergies from Shaik Ibne Arabi and Ibne Rushd and Imam Razi.

I wish more understood your point. I fear most are more preoccupied with how one should stand while praying (which hand to put above the other) and the likely futilities. A loss of link with the essence of the Universe (through philosophy, geometry, logic, and physics/mathematics) can only lead to chaos.

Einstein's relativity showing Newton to be wrong also shows that our senses and perceptions observed in a very narrow range can be misleading. It is now a proven fact, no longer just a theory, that time passes differently for every observer. It is counter-intuitive to our lifelong sensory perceptions but is the truth. Over-reliance on our sensory perceptions is a relic that might have been useful in the 19th century. A more mature human intellect today requires us to look beyond our limited sensory experiences to the greater truth - even if it is counter-intuitive.

Such a great content that I cannot not even articulate it. Every statement of Ibn Arabi needs deep contemplation and reflection.

hmmmm, I do not think that these two geniuses would have fallen into any disagreements if they met. Everyone tries to push the greats to disagreement, but in truth each is working in different areas...they may be workers in the house but not both trying to paint the same wall. Rather one works on the foundation, another on the walls, another paints, another furnishes...it would be silly to say that the wall painter and the furnisher disagree because one uses the colour white and the other red. It is possible to have white walls and a red coach. Ibn Arabi works concerning the experience of the Divine, while Ibn Rush'd works on the knowledge of the divine...actually, there is not even much room where they could disagree even if they wanted to. A baker can argue with another baker about how to cook, but it would be ridiculous for him to argue with a brewer of tea. And, as Ibn Rush'd would have pointed out, Aristotle himself agrees with Ibn Arabi - for Aristotle says: "One doesn't come to religion for knowledge, but for experience." Philosophy must limit itself to the knowledge of the Divine, but religion should strive for the experience of the Divine.

Quran(only scripture with 100% preservation/accuracy) says:”Allah:there is no deity worthy of worship except he”:The Neccessary life/consciousness,sustainer of life/consciousness.” Wire like neuronal structures that conduct electricity via ions/neurotransmitters in the CNS/PNS possess no attribute of thinking/life and yet that has “randomly” led to life. Consciousness/thinking is an innate idea(“Fitra”)that is distinct from carbon skeleton and yet the materialist scientist believes that chemistry turned into biology(abiogenesis) via “god of randomness”/”Emergent property”/”law of nature”. Limited/Imperfect Consciousness can only stem from Necessary Consciousness (Allah-One/Indivisible/All-Loving/Self-Sufficient Infinite Perfection)……..
