Climate change is real enough. But man's involvement has been somewhat exaggerated. We should be preparing for future extremes rather than trying to hold back the tide. Greta is right on one thing; she should be back in school.

Exaggerated? Consider this. Oil is made from millions of years of dead Diatoms on the Ocean floor. 70% of the Oxygen we breath is made from Oceanic Diatoms. In 100 years we have released into the atmosphere at least one third ALL Carbon removed from the atmosphere [by Oceanic Diatoms] over the span of at least 100 million years! The Fact is modern life is so dependent on Fossil Fuels, even if we cut back to a bare minimum, it won't make a difference. It took the Oceans, the main driver of our Atmosphere millions of years to get that carbon out of the atmosphere, it will take millions more to put it back in the Ocean...It's Simple Arithmetic!

Greta thunberg is a thing, we can question the way she put up her speech. But what she is saying is backed up by world wide scientific community which have now conducted countless studies so. The most likely current scenario is to be able to do something about global warming before 2050, even long before since it's the date at which the increase in temperature will begin to make certain regions of the world unliveable, triggering exoduses for survival in the poorest countries.
