Relaxing music 3. Ability to make me daydream of the past because i remembered the feeling of reading some of the works of these writers. It would be better, in my opinion, if you displayed the artwork in the video in its entirety, rather than having them cropped and moving around the screen; I find so for several reasons: 1. When viewing these kinds of videos, I often take screenshots to share with my friends. It's hard to know the names of all the paintings to search for. 2. Currently, there is no way for the viewer to see the full picture (literally). When viewing, The thought of "I can't see this whole painting and I wish I could" often distracts me from what is being presented. 3. The motion of the paintings has the flaw of consuming a bit of the viewers attention, and therefore, distracts them from the point you try to make.

It's a funny thing that when death comes we appreciate everything so much more. Life is a delicate thing that should never be seen as ordinary. I'm fascinated by nature and how we all survive day by day. In America with all the school shootings , there is deep profound void for meaning. The focus is on the weapon but what about the perp. I see the downfall as lack of communication within families and technology that embraces likes for popularity and lack of community as the reason for isolation. Of course there is the argument of toxic masculinity which is complete bullshit. Is the reason for mass killings because God is not in the schools? Nietzsche said once God is dead than the rest is nothing.

I admire Shestov for dedicating himself to philosophy, however, I do not agree with him when it comes to the matter of God. Once a person has witnessed death and its occurrence in seconds, in the most absurd, petty way, in the most meaningless manner, there is no chance of her in believing that there is something beyond the cause and effect. Whatever it is, It's here in this World in the concrete fashion.
@Ghost-vg6iq3 жыл бұрын

Although someone might become cynical and horrified by the world after witnessing the worst of mankind, how can you be sure the law of cause and effect as it relates to you does not extend beyond one lifetime?
@andredelacerdasantos44393 жыл бұрын
Did he actually write that he believed in an afterlife, though? (Genuine question, I've never read his work) Personally, I didn't get the impression that he necessarily believed in an afterlife from this video alone. Maybe I was distracted for a moment and missed it.
@gv38703 жыл бұрын
@@Mike9201984I don't think he talks about afterlife. But yeah I get your point and no, I don't agree with this circle working after life. What I am talking about is that when we do something, only then the things work. Things do not depend on something metaphysical. If I want to skip death in Covid, I'll have to take care of the precautions and whoever won't, no matter how much she is a good person, she'll die. And if someone says that sometimes miracle happens, it's exactly then that I believe in something called cause and effect. Suppose she helped a person once and that one turned out to be a good doctor and then takes her as priority and saves her who was otherwise dying. This way I believe in something called a circle of life. But haven't we all seen even a cruel person living a better life than many good people? So if this thing doesn't work in the same life, how can we know anything about afterlife? And what's this After Life anyway? Do we have any proof? And also yes we become cynical but it's also in this life that we start appreciating the true goodness only after seeing bad things. That's faith for me. Faith in oneself and in the impact of goodness
@gv38703 жыл бұрын
@@andredelacerdasantos4439 I don't think so. He does talk about faith and spirituality. In something beyond this world that may not make sense to us but brings us peace and goodness.
